  1. Very tough match for the world champion, Noppert played amazingly, could have beaten nearly anyone else. But big match Gary made a crucial appearance just to squeek the win.
  2. A wise man Not much fight from Big Ben in this match.
  3. Damn that was some drama, great first match. I can't believe Hughes lost that. A fantastic comeback from 5:9 to 9:9 and he was on 24 when Dobey was some 250+. The crowd were really behind Hughes, which added to Dobey's collapse. Uggh why Hughes, why
  4. Lol Taylor is nervy, that last smack before the break.
  5. I agree on the wishes, tho reality will kick in very fast. I don't think Taylor was bothered very much with that dead rubber, it will be very different tonight. Plus the longer format will help him if he starts slow. As for Jeff, as amazing he is on the check-outs, if the big scoring isn't there he would have a very hard time keeping up. I hope the main go for the BDO guys was to get out of the group, so now they can go out without any pressure and loosen up. If 1-2 guys sneak in the 1/4 that would be awesome.
  6. Damn, 5 BDO guys pass the group stage. This is their best performance as a team. And with all the talk, how they don't cope with the pressure of the big stage, 3 of them won a winner take all match, that went to the last leg. Especially Jeff Smith whoes 2 wins came with nail biting check-outs. The Barney - Durrant match will be a cracker, could fancy a Durrant win to be honest.
  7. Our new First Lady posted this song in her facebook after the election results.
  8. San Marino fires back at Thomas Muller http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3935386/San-Marino-hit-Thomas-Muller-Germany-ace-questions-point-playing-minnows.html
  9. Not quite. Firstly, it was a president election, and here the president doesn't have that much power. And the new president seems to be in the middle, he is as much pro-russian as pro-european. After all he was NATO general for many years, it seems highly unlikely he wants to desert them with ease Secondly, our PM acted like a complete baby this whole campaign and didn't take it so seriously, which had a big effect on the election results. The majority of the nation is still very pro-european, they just didn't like the whole attitude our Prime Minister showed this year.
  10. Wolfie played awful, the years are finally catching up to him
  11. Today we had the second round of our presidential election and for the first time since its establishment in 2007, our ruling party GERB didn't win the election. In 9 years they won 3 Parliamentary, 3 European, 1 Presidential and 3 Local elections. It didn't help that they chose the most unpopular candidate this time. Our new president will be former Air-force General Rumen Radev, who ran with the backing of the socialist party, but i think a big portion of thepeople, voted for him, because of his individual persona. Nevertheless this is another point for the more nationalistic side of the tide. After Trump, now we, i think a socialist will also win in Moldova today, it pegs the question will these nationalistic wins continue with Norbert Hofer in Austria in a couple of weeks.
  12. Let them race F1 F the safety car bs..
  13. The Grand Slam starts tomorrow and as always i'm hoping the BDO guys do good. Their field this year looks better than ever, so i hope there could be a few guys that can pass the group stage. MVG vs. Wolfie for the first time i think, would be awesome and if MVG doesn't play like a terminator it would be even better.
  14. The Dow hitting record highs on Wallstreet lol. No signs of the collapse the media were blabing if Trump won. This is also good for the UK after Brexit.
  15. Yeah, CNN wasn't that bad actually, but they were still stunned. Put that champagne in the case. From what i've read things at NBC and ABC were more juicy.
  16. The best thing out of this was seeing all the tears in the media, which is justice served. Especially at the Clinton News Network, they were in a funeral last night. It was so sweet after watching months of twisting information and throwing objective journalism out of the window. No more jokes for thier own amusement and arrogance. The same goes for Hollywood, who still think they can force the normal people to vote after their privileged ass. I can't believe that after all the talk from Trump that Clinton is the establishment, is getting funds from the elite, she went out parading all these celebs in the final days. And by the results in the rust belt, people needed words how their life will get better and not some free concerts from Katy Perry or Beyonce, who have nothing in common with them. It would be fun seeing all those celebs saying they would move out, actually do it. The hubris in Hollywood is just over the roof.
  17. What BS, under Obama the US are in more wars than ever since the WWII. With Trump at least there is a chance that these egotistical conflicts can finally come to an end. Another 4 years of Clinton/Obama will continue ruining 3 continents at the same time.
  18. Yes, one of the most overlooked classics from the 80s, especially from the americans. Very eurocentric song, when it comes to popularity.
  19. Eva-Maria Brem has broken her leg and will miss the whole season.
