I feel like the shooting coaches are doing something terribly wrong. A good example is Hanna Öberg who started her career as best in the individual event (where shooting is more important) winning 1 olympic and 2 world titles despite not being a very good skiier. Suddenly she was one of the better skiiers (not this season) but very unstable shooter. i think they practice to little on competition-like circumstances and too little in bad weather conditions too. And maybe need mental help. The coaches when interviewed have been talking for years how good Ponsilouma is at shooting both during off-season training and in the pre-race warm up shooting. Still terrible shooter in competition even if some of his very few successes have been in the most important races

Only 2/6 swedes yesterday had more than 5 hits, Magnusson and Skotheim with 6/10Heijdenberg so many that she couldn't count them all and took one lap to less

97 kg Anger,12th and performs one of his best distance world cup races on this climb course improvement of 4 minutes since last year

I really hope they Will rebuild this Val de Fiemme course before the olympics. Especially the sprint is just a race of positioning and a final downhill race

Sarah Sjöström who has not competed since August will take a longer break from competitions during 2025. However she is still aiming for her 6th olympics.

The swedish womens sprint team this weekend has been bad enough but to only start with Ilar and Henriksson today is embarrasing

She is going back home and Will not be back until 2025

A rest could be what she need. She is already out of question for the cup anyway. And when she actually took a break the season 22/23 she ended up as Queen of the WCH. And the swedish team still don't need her in a relay team right now

And despite the lack of competition Sandra Näslund out in QF in both races?!

She was sick and missed the swedish premiere a few weeks ago. I suspect she has not yet recovered from that. At least the swedish commentators said she won an inofficial test race within the swedish team just days before she got sick. But that was some time ago now so maybe it is just bad shape anyway

Interesting about Wallberg is that when he cancelled his last season due to knee problems he has focused more on cross country skiing, road cycling and swimming than skiing and gym to be back know hopefully free from injury

I am worried about that. The swedes almost never gets better than in the start of the season. However, despite being 25 years old the reports from the team is that she made huge steps during the training season. She barely made the A-team just because she is a good shooter and becuase Stina Nilsson changed sport, Mona Brorsson ended her career and Linn Gestblom (Persson) was injured) and she was like 20minutes behind everyone during training in the spring and then the coach and the other girls have said she has been on their level after summer.

Constantinis team have made huge improvements since 2022 even if they are not best yet. And Constantini never was world leading in mixed doubles before Beijing olympic either so it is not like she really have lost anything since 2022 either, except not being able to repeat that success.
