    And just a couple of quick facts... In 8 participations, Egypt has awarded 7 medals to the winning entries (4 gold, 2 silver, 1 bronze)! Song About Love, whom they awarded nothing, is the reason Egypt is not a member of The Committee. Only one jury has ever awarded points to everyone in the bottom three ( Sweden - 2019 Open).

    Nobody is really comparing the current situation with March/April. 1000 daily cases during quarantine is much, much different than 1000 cases without a quarantine. Main concern is that testing has been pretty stable for the past couple of months or so. However, now we are witnessing daily records all over the place. Death rate seems to be climbing again, too...
