  1. Now that you have exposed my nonsense (i am sure that you really believe that), you can finally fall asleep, you really seem to need it. Oh wait ... now that i read your comment again i realize that you didnt answer any of my questions and didnt disprove any of my points. You might want to sleep a couple of hours and then try again, but please try better this time, otherwise just save my time and dont write anything. For a start you could post a link to some sources (about the media taking those athletes to charge), its crazy that i have to teach you how to discuss ... Probably you are the Donald Trump here ... its easy to provoke you and you have the very rare ability to write multiple lines of nonesense, without making a single point and without even noticing that you actually didnt prove anything. Edit: Its funny and expected that you dont see anything wrong about the media not being too critical about Froome, Farah or Radcliffe, british media is really cruel ... you really have to feel sorry for all those poor british athletes.
  2. What a shocking loss today, this team is too stupid for a medal. GB in quarterfinals and Netherlands in the semifinal would be much more difficult than Australia and USA.
  3. Maybe Cancellara is doped or maybe not, i dont know and i dont care much, i just cant stand to see countries dominating a sport that is 99% about endurance. I dont really care whether athlete X is doped or not, but i just think that all athletes should have the same chance and if some countries are systematically doping or arent really controlling their athletes, then its just unfair. Am i sure that Gesa Krause is clean? No. Do i hope that she beats Jebet in womens 3000 m SC? Yes and its not about her nationality, for her it just would be much more difficult to dope. In my opinion its less likely that she is doped, so she would be a better winner than Jebet in my opinion.
  4. Yeah thats probably what british people want to believe, your media has been really hard on Radcliffe, Farah, Froome, Ohurougo, Armitstead, Williams and so on ... I am not saying that they are doped (again), but there have been rumours surrounding all of them (those who haven been caught) and your media didnt really seem to bother much to be honest. Its crazy that you really believe all this, considering all we have learned about Dr. Bonar recently. For me there isnt any reason to think that british athletes are cleaner than russian athletes in average. For me every country that is so desperate about success in sport is very suspicous. So could you tell me why your team was so far off at the last 4 world championships and now wins the gold? Winning a medal at world championships is better than not winning anything right? I guess your team was already focusing on the olympics for the past 2 or 3 years ... thats also the reason why you have been winning many medals in other disciplines (womans omnium/team pursuit) and other sports (athletics, swimming, boxing) ... There is absolutely no reason why your team wouldnt have wanted to win a medal at the past 4 world championships, but they just werent good enough to do it. Sorry, but for me there isnt really any point in discussing with you, for me its just too obvious, actually i am even less suspicious about Efimova. Edit: About 2012: Yeah, it was a really poor try be the french team, but they couldnt accuse you of doping, because Bauge had been banned before. I am happy for Hindes (although his cheating in 2012 was extremely embarrassing). He wasnt good enough to make the german team, but now he won his second olympic gold, the british training really seems to work for him ...
  5. Sorry, but your comment was obviously off-topic. You either really want a LIST OF ALL ATHLETES WHO ARE CLEAN in the track cycling thread, which clearly would be off-topic, or you dont really expect me to give you a list, then it would be trolling. Of course people can still do impressive things without me doubting them. I for example celebrated Cancellara here and i will also celebrate Van Niekerk when he wins the 400 m gold. I am just VERY SUSPICIOUS when a country dominates a sport that is 99% about endurance, thats why i am for example very suspicious about dutch speed skating, british cycling or norwegian cross-country skiing. I have no problem with british dominance in general (at least as long as they dont steal any medals from Germany ...), but its just ridiculous that they were miles away from the medals at the last 4 world championships and then suddenly win the gold here, in my opinion it cant get any more obvious. At 2013 world championships they finished 6th (0.7s behind New Zealand), at 2014 world championships they finished 5th (0.6s behind New Zealand), at 2015 world championships they finished 8th (1s behind New Zealand) and at 2016 world championships, just about 5 months ago, they finished 6th with the exact same team (0.5s behind New Zealand). They werent able to get withing 0.5s of New Zealand's time for more than 3 years and now they suddenly beat them and every other nation ... ? Just ridiculous, i am very sorry for New Zealand.
  6. Thats basically what their football coach said. He said something like "Player X is policeman, player Y is teacher and some of those guys dont do anything". They really seem to be pretty relaxed in general.
  7. Rugby shouldnt be an olympic sport, its not diverse enough, Fidji is too dominant.
  8. You have been really unlucky in judo, but your golds in mens c1 and eventing have been more than surprising to be honest.
  9. What about New Zealand?
  10. Very sorry for New Zealand, they got robbed here, hopefully they will win a gold somewhere else, i hope that the chinese girl wont steal the gold in womens shot put, it belongs to Adams.
  11. Haha ... thats exactly what i said when i saw their qualifying time. Its just too obvious and pretty funny how desperate they are to defend their results from 2012. They are a western country, so i guess everyone will be happy ...
  12. I think mens artistic gymnastics is much more competitve, so it should be difficult to become equally dominant on the mens side. In addition to that you need different strengths in mens artistic gymnastics, so you cant just copy the training methods.
  13. Very happy for Mustafina, she won the bronze as predicted. I hope that Biles will win all the golds and then retire afterwards. I know this is somehow normal in artistic gymnastics, but i just cant watch women looking like 10 year olds doing sport.
  14. I dont quite get why we wanted to lose this match, but i trust our coach, he normally knows what hes doing. I still think that its unfair for the other teams in our group who might not make the quarterfinal in the end.
  15. I agree, this is very worrying. They were absolute shit in team sprint all the years and now they ride an olympic record out of nowhere. Also interesting to know: Their (german) coach in mens team pursuit said that they already did a world record in training ... Half a year ago they won 2 golds, now they will probably end up with 6-7 golds again, this is just ridiculous. On the other hand it makes perfectly sense if you think about the british dominance at the Tour de France + Armitstead.
  16. I think Krpalek was the czech flag bearer? Great to see that the curse had no effect on him. GB has won medals in many different sports already, they have an amazing diversity!
  17. Wait ... what? We won 3 golds today? Something must be wrong, i have a bad feeling for the rest of the day. Congrats to all opponents of the german athletes for the rest of the day (womens archery, canoeing slalom, womens tennis, track cycling, equestrian dressage, hockey and judo). Congrats Engleder!
  18. Wow, congrats to Poland, Lithuania, Switzerland and Croatia! Its great to see the diversity in rowing. The great thing about rowing is that apparently many small nations have one great boat and are sometimes even able to win gold.
  19. About Chalmers: Its crazy that he is already that clutch and didnt go out too fast (like Condorelli). I also think that he could be amazing in the 200 free, especially because the 200 free is less competitive nowadays. I know that he should be able to improve considering his age, but he doesnt look like 18 at all, so i am not so sure whether he could really get much faster in the future. I said the same about Bukowiecki (that he would never be able to do 22 m or more) in mens shot put and he is still improving, so i might be wrong. About Belmonte: Deserved win for her. She has many minor medals and deserved a gold in my opinion, considering her crazy schedule. Huge respect to Groves, i thought that she would be lucky to win a bronze, but she improved her PB and was able to beat the current world champion. In addition to that i love to see young swimmers who risk something and try to win the race from the beginning. About Cate and McKeown: Cate should win the gold, Sjöstrom and Kromowidjojo look worse than expected, i think Kromowidjojo might have a better chance in the 50 free. I think only Oleksiak has a chance to beat Cate, she seems to improve every day and we dont know how high her ceiling is. I dont see McKeown winning gold. After the semifinals i would say that this race is completely open, i just hope that Efimova wont win. Before the competition i thought that Kaneto, Solnceva and Efimova would win the medals. My hope is that Pedersen will somehow get a medal. The way this meet has been going so far, i wouldnt be too surprised to see something like Kaneto ahead of Smith and Tutton/Renshaw. Mens 200 back: Should be between Rylov and Murphy in my opinion. Bronze pretty open, probably Pebley or Larkin.
  20. Best 3 count, otherwise the Netherlands would already be out. Its great to see that someone from Poland follows this sport, although your country isnt one of the best in this event!
  21. You are right, he won the gold for Kuwait not for the IOC. Bach is obviously desperate for some fame, otherwise he would have allowed him to compete for Kuwait.
  22. Sad to see Pejcic already out, for me this was the second safest gold in shooting, only behind Rhode. At least Croatia already won a surprising gold in shooting, now i am a bit sad that i bet 10 points on Croatia finishing in the medal table ahead of Serbia ...
  23. Wow, congrats! Was your team even among the favorites before the olympics? I am really shocked that your boat was so close, obviously our team wasnt in a very good shape. So you will leave Rio with at least one silver and a gold, am i right to assume that this is more than expected?
  24. Yes, finally you got that your comment was off-topic. I think its best for both of us if you just ignore me in the future, then i wont have to deal with your nonsensical comments anymore. By the way: Generic? Your brain really seems to work (remember) well ... at least most of the time. Interesting question: You said that they (those i criticized) have olympic/world records, but that cant be said about Balandin, so doesnt one counterexample prove you wrong? Lets just assume that you werent talking about Balandin (Which is weird, because i only mentioned mens 200 breast and womens 100 free ... So you just excluded 50% of the athletes i talked about?), otherwise you probably should have said that MOST of them have olympic/world records.
  25. We are really embarrassing in rowing, we should end the funding. We are decent in both quadruple sculls and mens eight, but in all other boats we are a third-world countries at best. Normally i would say that most other nations outdoped us, looking at the results, but then we probably would be shit in all disciplines ... I also wonder what happened with our mens quadruple sculls, they were shit all season long and now they are suddenly the best ... ?
