    Haha yeah I personally wanted it to be bigger too. But 7000 is considered big in Indonesia lol. The biggest indoor arena that can be used for sports here is 7166-seater Istora. In a badminton mad country which is played indoors, finding a indoor arena with capacity more than 5000 and able to fit 4 badminton courts is difficult as hell and causes us unable to host many tournaments.

    I don't think we can find one.. The only update I found is this podium picture from 福州新闻网. It looks like Le Nguyen Quoc Bao wins the gold and Surahmat bin Suwoto of Indonesia get silver in the 55 kg. The bronze medalist is from Turkmenistan

    Maybe to some extent, but for me the only youth stuff that can work is skateboarding (already there) and e-sports (but I don't consider this as a sport). But with this "I-can-put-sports-I-like" policy, you can attract more bidders (for example Turkmenistan maybe pushing through to add belt wrestling or Indonesia pushing pencak silat). Of course this will further lower the Olympic prestige.

    And the news about the Indonesian bid has divided people to 4 groups: Those who doesn't care at all Those who are (too) optimistic Those who fear/reject the bid because of the cost Those who fear/reject the bid because of Israel I just want to prevent our country from being a laughing stock. The bid itself (for me) is destined to fail since we have the weakest infrastructure and de facto rejection of Israel won't make this bid sounds good even to drunk Mr. Bach

    It's pretty obvious.. You can't get through the competition in China and you search for other countries. It is also possible some of them decided to emigrate and/or study while playing for the country of destination.
