Tandem cycling on the roads is kind of like yacht racing with oil tankers; they take a bit of turning.

On the first bike lap, Dave Ellis has already made up his time deficit & moves into the lead in the PT Visually Impaired Triathlon

And he got a 20 second drafting penalty when he had that late bike change, so more to do next week. Primož Roglič docked 20 seconds for drafting behind team car on stage 15 of Vuelta a España (msn.com)

And Aubert gets away with a terrible mistake! She gave up her last two balls not realising that Ting still had one left! Luckily for her Ting failed to get the equalizer.

I've overslept. Going to be a bit complicated because not only do we have two races going on at once, but those races have handicapped starts for different categories. The Also, think it is old rules, so no draughting on the bikes, just solo time trialling.

Discussion over on a British athletics board that this was just too late in the season for most people, who have probably been running since the University season in May. Mind you, the Australians have been going since February, so....

Yeah, a must watch, absolute epic! Plus Roglič continues shaving 30 time off Ben O'Connor's lead at the rate of 30 seconds per stage.

Just found out that there is an annual triathlon race in the centre of Paris that does NOT use the Seine but still takes in all the main city centre sites. So literally all they had to do was just use that route for the swimming, and the whole soap opera could have been avoided. Thing is they want to have the Eiffel Tower etc as the backdrop so must use the Seine. And because the French Govt promised it would be clean, everyone must pretend it is clean.
