  1. Hard to keep track of all the different triathlon formats, but the new Supertri Series started last weekend. Based around Olympic triathlon, but with each race divided into 9 sections. First race was in.Boston last weekend. Sunday is Race 2 in Chicago.
  2. In fact the Madison Gold Medallists are being punished by having to do six hours a day of hard manual labour for the benefit of a gang of Belgians for the next three weeks.
  3. Aha, was wondering why it was only three days......like the rowing last weekend, it is non-Olympic events only. Plus with the Paralympics being next week, those are excluded as well. 2024 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships - Wikipedia Some Olympic champions will be present, although arguably not the biggest names of all. 15. I imagine that like the Olympics the official YT Channel will be heavily geo-blocked in most major territories and will restrict itself to the hugging and crying side of things.
  16. That is what is on TV, and a lot more on their YT Channel. But usually at the Paralympics coverage is pretty patchy. At London we got all the easy-and-cheap-to-cover track cycling, but literally none of the more expensive road cycling. That's the general rule - indoors and static, lots of coverage, outdoors and mobile.....maybe not. All they are saying is "more coverage than ever before"....
  17. Plus to honour the fact that it now has its own language.

  19. As ever, it's mainly the East European teams taking part. Most of the West Europeans are pretty much volunteers only. sending their youth team though.
  20. Aussies think they have a two year veto. However, I doubt this would apply universally, because in events like the Nations Cup sponsored teams are allowed to compete, even though such teams are often very thinly disguised - the Home Team's National U-23 team riding in the name of the team bike manufacturer or whatever. Matt Richardson: Cyclist could face two-year ineligibility period after GB switch, say AusCycling - BBC Sport
