То је руска измишљотина, од јуче пишу о томе. Баш су их погодили јучерашњи порази Угуева и Абакарова, толико да су обневидели да је оно код челенџа био партер, 80% њих тврди да је Јапанац оштећен.
Цео живот човек прави најбоље резултате у 57, док је Абакаров тек прошле године узео прву медаљу у 57, све остале су у 61 и 65. Стевана је у 65 добио на Медитеранским играма.
Разумем ја све, свима нам је у таквим ситуацијама тешко да задржимо објективност, али не морају да се пишу и преписују глупости.
 
Слободни стил пребацио очекивања и то много. Не могу да верујем да смо добили шампиона света, невероватан успех!

I don't think so, he was just very tired, and his previous match against our guy drained his energy completely. 
 
he is still a great wrestler, but if you don't train properly you can't wrestle back to back matches, your body won't let you.

Негде ми је и драго за Сидакова, какав су му жреб наместили, овако нешто не памтим. Безвезе што је Цаболов упао баш ту, свих пет из његовог дела има реалне шансе за медаљу.

Bajramova sam gledao par puta, strasan borac, brz, agresivan. Sidakov je jasan favorit ali Cecenima i Dagestancima Azeri bas ne leze, nisu laki mecevi nikada. A onda da vidimo kostur za repasaz.

4 defeats and we have nobody in the semifinals  57 and 75 defeats were execpted but really disappointed with 79 and 92kg defeats, Nokhodi simply fell into the Russian's trap. when you are facing a Russian you have to push from the start because if you are leading by 1 point there is 90% chance that you lose the match. they know how to score in the last 30 seconds
and Azarpira was a total disaster, he lost despite leading 9-4 at some point. 3 of 4 semifinalists lost so many times to our 2nd/3rd tier wrestlers in past couple of years 
 
speaking of Olympic weights, Emami did nothing special against Sidakov, losing 6-0. Sidakov almost lost his 1st match but he is a snake, he always finds a way to win. I think he will beat Bayramov in SF easily but still it will be a long road ahead in the repechage for Emami. 
 
57kg was a different story, we gave up on our so-called experienced wrestlers and sent a 18 years nobody kid instead. surprisingly he won 2 matches before losing to the defending champion Abakarov. I hope Aba makes to the final and brings back our kid to the repechage but even in that case he has to beat Aman 
 
good day for Azerbaijan, they have 3 in the semifinal. USA also received 3 defeats and even Kyle Dake barely survived in his matches. but star of the day was Kougioumtsidis, beating Kadi and Salkazanov 
also Micic surprised everybody by beating the Olympic Champ Uguev

I did not have the chance to watch it live today, only some highlights in my TV now, but I have to say that this whole idea about the venue at the Panathenaic Stadium works well, I was expecting maybe more spectators, but the commentators said that the atmosphere was still excellent.      

I believe people here are more interested in the Olympic weights so I drop the non-Olympic weights even though based on the number of wrestlers you can see they are still matter and we see something like 25-30 wrestlers in each one of them.
 
keep in mind Russian wrestlers are out of competition for a while. they had their own tournaments but I know some of them didn't train 100% since they weren't sure if they are coming or not. so they might underperform badly. 
 
57kg
to me Higuchi is the #1 favorite and he is in the top half alongside Harutyunyan, both of them have some problems with cutting weight. if they do that properly I believe Higuchi is going to win the whole thing. Atli is there too
the bottom half is much much tougher, with Uguev Micic, Aman, Abakarov and couple more guys like Abdullaev, Richards, Rzazade and the Mongolian. our wrestler is here too but he is just a kid and most probably will lose in the 1st or 2nd round. if Uguev is in a good shape (which I doubt) he is my pick for the silver medal. I also can't wait to see IND/ALB match in the 2nd round. Abakarov is technically great but Aman can beat everybody by making them dead tired. if Abakarov really makes it to the SF he will be really tired against Uguev. 
 
my picks for the quota: 

65kg
the top half is just brutal with our World Champion Amouzad, Olympic Champ Otoguro and Russian new sensation Mamedov (they consider him VERY good) I don't give a chance to everybody else but still we have some other big names like Lee (USA) and Musukaev (the best wrestler in the world if it was just 2 minutes ) Otoguro and Mamedov will meet first and the winner will get Amouzad. so if Amouzad wins that will eliminate one of those guys which is a great news for the rest. because I believe they are top 3 of this weight.
in bottom half we will have an interesting match between Haji Aliyev and Tulga (MGL) in the 3rd round. and the winner will get Tevanyan. I'm going to drop the great Aliyev because he is aging but he is a great wrestler and he can always beat anybody. the 4th quarter looks too easy and we will have one lucky semifinalist. 
 
my picks for the quota: 
 
74kg
top and bottom halves look equal but you can see some big names next to each other in the 2nd quarter. Olympic Champ Sidakov has to win 3 back to back matches against former world medalists to make it to the SF. I have a feeling he is not that physically prepared for that. so I hope our guy Emami can beat him in the 1/8 final. and the winner will get former World Champ Tsabolov  Sidakov couldn't ask for a more difficult draw. still you can't underestimate an Olympic Champion, I believe he will go to the final but it's highly possible if he loses to one of these guys (hopefully to ours )
bottom half is no easy too. we have less big names but there are 4 very big names there! I believe we will see two very interesting quarterfinals between Salkazanov/Kadimagomedov and Chamizo/Dake. great matches, but Dake is my favorite to win the whole thing. he lost badly to this Kadi guy at the Olympics and I'm sure he is waiting for a re-match. Salkazanov is a tough guy, I don't know how his match up will work with Kadi. Salkazanov is stronger, Kadi is more technically gifted. I go with Salkazanov simply because Kadi didn't wrestle much recently. maybe out of shape a bit ?

this weight is always easier, Yazdani and Taylor will meet in the final and only a miracle (or an injury) can change that. it's hard to pick the bronze medal winner from the top half. I can't see a favorite , even for the 5th quota. I think that will be between Makoev and someone from the top half (Gocen maybe ?) which will be a close match. Makoev is lucky that he can lose to Taylor early, if he was in the 3rd quarter (which is more balanced) he could lose to KAZ or AZE and I won't be surprised if any of these 2 guys upset the new Russian guy. he wasn't impressive from what I saw
 
my picks for the quota:

top 3 medal favorites are in the same half! our guy Goleij has to beat Sadulaev in the 3rd round to stand a chance. personally I consider Sadulaev the best wrestler of all time but he looked completely out of shape in his recent matches. but I think underestimating him is a crime. he is always #1 favorite unless proven otherwise. Sadulaev has to beat Baitsaev first and then Goleij to meet his old rival Snyder in the semis. I hope he wins and brings back our guy to the repechage but I have a feeling Snyder has the upper hand this time, yet I can't predict Sadulaev losing, just can't 
bottom half is indeed easier, we have both European finalists from AZE and GEO and I believe Magomedov will win this time. hard to see anybody beating these two guys, but BLR maybe ? or Yergali (moving back from 125kg) or maybe slim chance for Nurov.
 
my picks for the quota:

we have 3 favorites and I think all 3 of them will easily make it to the SF. I'm a bit biased so I pick our guy Zare to win the whole thing. Zare and Akgul are in the top half and the loser will take the bronze medal but their match is also important to determine who is going to finish 5th from the top half.  at the bottom half Geno lost to this big Mongolian guy last year but I believe it won't happen again. he is going to win the semifinal against no matter who. 3rd quarter is more balanced, I think it will be between the Mongolian and Parris. I go with the experience
5th place match will be interesting too. if Geno goes to the final the winner of POL/RUS match most probably will finish 5th and has to face probably either UKR or BLR (depends on the semifinal result)

of course personally I'm against banning athletes for non-sporting related reasons so I'm glad everybody is allowed to wrestle. but they set a criteria and didn't stand on it. even they rejected Sidakov, Mamiashvili forced them to include his name too. this is another evidence that Mamiashvili has the whole UWW in his pocket

Шта знам, кадети су у 2 месеца имали ЕП, ЕЈОФ, СП, па су неки на сва 3 били у топ 5. Мада су Борис и Александра прескочили ЕЈОФ. 
Прелистао сам правила, пдф 10 страна (!), као да су се трудили да што више закомпликују. Ако ја добро разумем, не можемо да пошаљемо лаки дубл на европске квалификације у случају да имамо два квалификована скифа. Ако се скифови и не квалификују, тамо ће имати другу шансу, па трећу на завршној. Док за завршну регату нисам видео таква ограничења, стоји само да не можемо да пошаљемо чамац у дисциплини у којој већ имамо квалификован чамац (логично). Мислим да ће двојац моћи да иде завршну регату без обзира на број квалификованих чамаца.

Каџајину каријеру нисам пратио детаљно, али сам стекао утисак да му је такав стил борбе - пасиван. Што у грчко-римском има смисла, обзиром на правила, али он више не брани партер као пре Токија. Гледао сам га скоро у овој Подубни лиги у Русији, рутинирао га је Саргсијан. Бићу изненађен ако уради нешто овде, од њега је за ову годину довољно што је узео бронзу на ЕП, за квоту ће имати прилику и следеће године.
Мислим да то око Сидакова још није готово и да још увек покушавају да га убаце. Иначе, не видим зашто је баш он проблем у односу на остатак тима. Овог Висаитова што је код М. Немеша у категорији, сам запамтио по томе што је идиот успео да на такмичењу (мислим неко јуниорско ЕП) падне на допинг, па је због тога неко од наших добио медаљу.
Све у свему, са много више наде бих чекао ово СП да се Зураб није повукао. Још увек се надам да ће се предомислити до квалификационих турнира, јер ми је до пре месец дана он био број један кандидат за злато у Паризу, рачунајући све спортове.

Even if Canada ends 4th it will be a big success. The main objective was achieved and the team made its appearance to the top of world basketball after decades. Canada dont have experience from semifinals in big competitions. Serbia is an experienced team with big wins in the past against tough opponents, this game will be a lesson for the future.
 
Also the team needs an additional high class point guard (Jamal Murray) because we saw that SGA should do everything by his own, scoring, passing, rebounds etc.. and 2 more talls as well (Birch, Boucher??, Lyles???) in the place of Edey and Kyle Alexander

Јасна ствар, безгрешних нема (барем не у последњих 1990 година). Мени увек смета тај наратив, који се често јавља у свим колективним спортовима, да нам само бољи селектор недостаје за велики резултат, што у 9 од 10 случајева није тачно. Ово данас је била Пешићева победа, дакле нити је посенилио, нити га је прегазило време.
Што се тиче капитена, могли су коме год да дају траку, вођа овог тима би опет био Богдан, јер просто има ту харизму и ауторитет, плус је најбољи играч у тиму. Живо ме занима кога би аутор коментара поставио за капитена.

Nije da nisam pisao da ljudi koji to pišu realno ne poznaju dovoljno košarku. Što naravno ne znači da je sad posle jedne ovakve pobede bezgrešan. Mi kao nacija mada nije generalno do nas nego je to stanje svuda rekao bih smo ili crni ili beli, ništa nema sivo ili neku nijansu da ima.. Gledao sam komentar na nekom od podcasta gde je lik napisao u komentaru da Bogdan nije za kapitena, Kari za selektora itd. Sve mi je jasno ali da Bogdan nije za kapitena, takvu glupost ne pročitah odavno, a to je bio jedan od onih najlajkovanijih komentara. Ovo danas je bila defanzivna klinika Pešića, sve ono što on želi od svoje šeme odbrane od pika je danas uspeo iako je Litvanija otvorila trojkama 5 od 5 i gde je Valančiunas pogodio ono što smo ga izazivali da pogodi, a to je ona prva trojka (što je koncepcijski rizik takvog načina odbrane od pika). Iskreno, mislio sam da ova grupa igrača ne može to da iznese na ovaj način, ali svaka im čast, jako je bilo malo propusta u odbrani a i u napadu kad smo počelik da igramo zrelije, sve je došlo na svoje mesto. 
 
Što se tiče polufinala, nama bi realno Slovenija bila mnogo lakši rival. Pogotovo što bi pobeda Slovenije nad Kanadom bila pobeda slabijeg tima nad dosta boljim, odnosno što bi za tu pobedu bio potreban neki scenario poput Litvanije protiv SAD, što nije održivo za ekipu takvog kvaliteta 2 utakmice zaredom protiv odličnih protivnika, što se pokazalo i danas na primeru Litvanije. Međutim, pošto pobeda znači kvotu, biram Kanadu svaki put, pa nek se pobijemo pošteno u petak. Iako bih rekao da su na toj utakmici šanse 65-35 za Kanadu. Kvota sa ovim sastavom tima bez obzira na žreb bi bila ogroman uspeh.
