  1. 77.78m! PB for Rowan Hamilton in men’s hammer throw!
  2. 8.03m in the decathlon long jump for Skotheim! Edit: And that’s a PB!
  3. Topic with a clutch 3rd attempt clearance at 1.88m to stay alive
  4. 11.44 and a Q for Semedo!
  5. 77.42 for Kokhan and an automatic Q for the men’s hammer throw final.
  6. Levchenko out in women’s high jump qualification! Fails to clear 1.83m
  7. 11.62 for Gasparelli, and through to the next round!
  8. Did you create that GIF?
  9. Another false start.
  10. It was a great shot by her don’t get me wrong, but all she needed was a 10.3 to win the gold, I wouldn’t exactly call it that
  11. God, I so badly want to see him defend his Olympic title now that LePage is out.
  12. 10.25 for Warner in the 100m portion of the decathlon! FYI, he went 10.12 back in Tokyo.
  13. Leone wins gold! Silver for Maddalena.
  14. Bronze for World Champion Qiongyue
  15. Duestad 4th again for the medals.
  16. She won bronze at Worlds last year, how would it be a surprise?
  17. Leone was so still that I thought my stream froze for a second
  18. Rooting for Tan/Thinaah!
  19. airballs on a free throw, geez that’s bad
  20. Forgot to mention this earlier, I was watching the v. game yesterday, hadn’t heard of Mevius before Somewhat surprised she was selected over Rodefeld
  21. Tatjana Smith (swimming)
  22. Day 7 isn’t as busy of a day as some of the others, but there’s still a couple of medal chances, here are the main things to watch from a Canadian perspective. Damien Warner starts off his decathlon campaign, Felix Auger-Aliassime takes on Alcaraz in the men’s singles semifinals in tennis for a chance at a guaranteed medal, later partnering up with Gaby Dabrowski in the mixed doubles bronze medal match to take on Koolhof/Schuurs, Sophiane Methot might be a dark-horse for a medal in women’s trampoline (although I’m gonna be honest, I don’t follow trampoline that much so unsure on the strength of the field when she won bronze at a World Cup) but first she’ll have to get through qualification, Mo Ahmed in the first stadium final of the athletics program will go for a medal in the men’s 10,000m, and in swimming Josh Liendo and Kylie Masse will compete in the men’s 50m freestyle/women’s 200m backstroke finals. I’ll do Day 6’s overview in a couple of hours, I’m tired.
