If gun access to citizens is so easy as you say, it's obvious why it's so easy to become a policeman Gun violence and police capacity are not unrelated things. Long live the Second Amendment

The proliferation of guns should absolutely be a huge part of the coverage of this case.
I don’t post about it, but little kids (5-12) die quite frequently from getting access to their parents guns and shooting themselves or friends.
At home, yes. But this was outside and the kid was hanging out with some 21yo who also had a gun. What gives? Kid was inspired by thug life or whatever street gang? I tell you, I'm not shocked police is so trigger-happy if some kid from 6th grade can pull a gun on you and flat out shoot you dead. Hence there will be no lessons learned from George Floyd and others. The juice is not worth the squeeze. USA is a gun violence country with both Republicans and Democrats happy to uphold the Second Amendment from 18th century. 230 years and you keep feeding this sacred cow. For what? I understand Republicans are scared to lose the conservative votes but what is holding the Democrats back? Either they're bunch of hypocrites or they're scared of NRA as well. Either way, nothing changes. Rinse and repeat.

But he was holding a gun like one second before that? What is a 13 year old doing with a real hand gun to begin with? USA is a brain dead country. 13 year olds running around with real guns, no wonder policemen are trigger-happy and have a short fuse.

No way Tokyo gets postponed again. Hell, WOG in Beijing will most likely go ahead as planned and Japan can't get their shit together for two years? It's either cancel or go ahead later this summer. If Japan cancels the games they should be banned from applying for another OG for the next 50 years or something!

What's the difference between A3 and B?

Yeah, CAS decision to ban the word "Russia" and national flag ends on December 16th, 2022 so I guess IBU falls in line with that.

Yeah, that must be an American thing only. Polish commentators never talk about brand of clothing or skin color during women's tennis matches They did talk about Radwanska because for years she didn't sign a clothing deal and had to wear those WTA stickers which sometimes flew off.
Yep, the 5 set games come up in equal pay conversation. Victoria Azarenka made a fool out of herself last year by suggesting men should play 3 sets at Grand Slam.
Roland Garros has said only men matches will be featured in this year's night sessions since they want to crank up revenue numbers. Everyone knows ATP matches gather significantly bigger interest than WTA's. When you're chasing financial revenue in pandemic even France ditches the "equality" thing.

Poland won 11 medals each of the last three SOG.
I'll say they can win 11 fourth time in a row. 3 golds (most likely from Anita Wlodarczyk in W Hammer, Pawel Fajdek in M Hammer, Men's coxless fours in rowing).
Count in Men's volleyball but we always screw the joint at the Olympics. Maybe it will change here.
Biggest potential gold medal surprise that won't be a total upset is Katarzyna Niewiadoma in women's elite road race.
Minor medal hopes: Marta Walczykiewicz in canoeing, women's 4x400 relay, Marcin Lewandowski 1500m in athletics and maybe someone from judo/wrestling with a rare run that usually tends to happen to us quite frequently.

He's done it! Hideki Matsuyama is the Masters champion!
Cue in some crazy Japanese commentary clips soon...
-
Schauffele with water & triple bogey at the 16th and that's the end of his challenge.
Matsuyama leads by two over Zalatoris with 2 to go.
-
Matsuyama found water at the 15th. Leads by two with 3 to go...
-
Zalatoris fading on back nine... Matsuyama leads by five over Schauffele with 5 to go...
-
Front nine done and Matsuyama extended his lead to five shots over Zalatoris.
Jon Rahm after -6 on the day has moved up to third at -6.

Well, he was on a secure path to graduating. Would by all mean have gotten a PGA tour card by now.
Yeah, I realize that. It wasn't hard to spot his name on the second tour given how rarely "Z" is used in English language

Zalatoris is going for the challenge. Impressive showing from the young man who just 2 years ago was outside top 1500!
Zalatoris only got to PGA last year due to laxed acceptance rules IIRC? If not for that, he'd still be playing in the second league? So that's one guy who really can be thankful for the COVID pandemic

Kudermetova wins Charleston 64 62 over Kovinic.
And Maria Camila Osorio Serrano wins her home Bogota Slam.. I mean Copa Colsanitas! That's a totally unexpected result no matter how lukewarm the draw was.
87 v 90 UE! That is some other level of lukewarm indeed.

I think it's more the lack of ball kids. I saw a match from that tournament and they were playing like with 2 balls and going after them after every single point.
Most ITF events like that are played w/o ball kids tbh and it doesn't get so extreme. And Anshba has two entries in Top 10 of longest women's matches.
Not to mention her 140 shot "rally" vs Magdalena Frech highlighted by some outrageous moonballing

Hideki Matsuyama leads by four shots after R3 at the Masters.
Either he finally breaks the Major curse or we'll see the biggest collapse since Jordan Spieth in 2016

DeGrom had 14 strikeouts and Mets still lost?
I wonder when he pulls a Verlander and ditches the loser team for a WS contender?

Kovinic vs Kudermetova in the Charleston final.

Chile wins 2-1.
I read they totally dominated, Cameroon only had 2 shots all game?
Seen the first goal on twitter, totally awful set piece marking by Cameroon defense.

Joe Musgrove throws the first no-hitter in San Diego Padres history vs Texas Rangers on only 112 pitches.
Padres were the last team in MLB w/o a no-hitter.

Canadian Grand Prix has been cancelled for the second straight season. Istanbul is on stand-by to replace it.
Meanwhile we've gotten one step closer to Miami GP in 2022. Dolphins owner Stephen Ross is too powerful to upset the city council?
