BJJ is the only sport that could offer some diversity among competing nations. Everything else doesn't make any sense at the Olympics.

And it's official. Group E - Spain, Sweden, Poland and Slovakia - will play in Seville & Sankt Petersburg

@RobtheAggie I read that Tara Geraghty-Moats is done with nordic combined and wants to go back to biathlon?

Typical bullshit from IOC

Yep, Netherlands has the easiest group on paper. USA vs Sweden again - in the Group of death no less

Pathetic performance from Polish women. I won't be surprised if Karolina Kudlacz announces her NT retirement soon. It's not worth the effort anymore.
Kinga Grzyb once retired from NT already and might do that again. She didn't even get called up for Austria and it sounded like it was her own decision.
Monika Kobylinska will return from injury and let's hope her career doesn't get wrecked like Alina Wojtas before.
We can't rely on wild cards all the time, that's kinda pathetic and hardly a reason to be proud of.

Yep, this baby is gone.
Florentino Perez can #### his own balls now

I just can not uderstand how someone so experienced and successful bussinesman and strong in economical matters like "don" Perez and "capo" Agnelli entered in a so risky project that will most likely finish even before it even started and destroy their careers forever
These owners are basically all multi-millionaires who always do things their own way. They simply can't take "no" for an answer. The Agnellis are like the Rockefellers of Italy. They will be fine even if this whole Super League thing turns into a fiasco faster than a Challenger in 1986.

Polish judo has shown signs of life again. I was hoping Julia Kowalczyk does a lot better though. Maybe she saves her best for OG

Pretty interesting question
@Monzanator Wasn't there this thing with referees in the NFL a while back, where the real NFL referees didn't appear and they brought in high school referees and others from outside of the 'main system'? If I remember correctly, that didn't work very well
Yep, they brought in referees from Arena & Lingerie aka Legends League to replace them. That was a total disaster and NFL gave up to the referees' demands literally 48 hours after the infamous Fail Mary game on Monday Night Football in Week 3.

Just to be clear, that’s not I was saying at all. I was just talking about decisions in similar legal matters recently.
I think it’s very clear from the comments on here, and elsewhere online, that fans are not supportive of this idea.
No problem, I hope you get the clear picture from the die-hards. Americans don't have their hearts in soccer so you might misread what's going on

Right, I was just highlighting that similar cases (even if on a much smaller scale then this one) haven’t played out well for international federations recently.
If you think the majority of fans would actually support the Super League you might be up for a surprise. English Big 6 clubs are getting ripped in the UK media and rightfully so.

Funnily enough politicians and UEFA have usually come to blows over various stuff but now they form a rare united front against a common enemy.

Especially when the ISU recently lost a case of similar nature. I believe FINA has had similar troubles preventing swimmers from competing in the ISL as well.
No offense to swimming or figure skating but association football is a whole different monster size. And a whole different size of money involved.

Alex Palou wins the IndyCar opener at Barber. That is a mild upset indeed.
Jimmie Johnson finished 19th three laps down after a harmless spin in the process.
Big pile-up on the opening lap eliminated Josef Newgarden who caused it by putting a wheel on the grass and spinning across the track.
@heywoodu Rinus VeeKay finished 6th after spinning out in that melee.

Used the F1 red flag to watch the finish of Moto2. Raul Fernandez who couldn't win a Moto3 race until the closing stages last season has won in only his third start in Moto2. Big high-side crash for Sam Lowes at the start. That's good for the championship battle.

Red flag after major shunt between Bottas & Russell in Turn 1.
Hamilton made a rare error and slid off track but found the reverse gear and rejoined.

Looks like Clara Tauson's run of success has finally drained her physically and she retired in Charleston QF. Which means Maria Camila Osorio Serrano is into SF and continues on her own hot streak!

Meanwhile USA got scared of Mother Russia and cancelled the warships passing in the Black Sea

Rybakina has totally collapsed this year. I have no idea what's going on with her? She made 7 WTA finals in a 14-month span in 2019/20 but can hardly win a match in 2021

Estadio de La Cartuja in Seville is proposed as backup venue for Euro 2020 matches in the Spain/Poland group.
Apparently the Basks might reject letting 13k attend the games in Bilbao which would drop the city off the list.

Huh just in time for when I move to the area.
It seems as ill-advised as the Sochi race tbh.
You're moving to Miami or Montreal?
Hard Rock stadium serves as the current home of ATP/WTA tournament after it was kicked off Key Biscayne. I suppose Stephen Ross wants to make up money lost from the empty NFL stands. Besides, Miami has hosted street races three different times in the past, Tamiami Park in the 80s and then Bayfront Park in 1995 & early 00s. So, it's not exactly terra incognita for motor racing
