  2. For the second match in a row loses in the last seconds. This is so sad for the tournament.
  3. It wasn't a discret, secret agreement. Many Danish medias wrote about this when Eller was confirmed. NT Coach said that they would take one match at a time because he arrivied with an injury. Eller has said he had to take pills and injections during the NHL- playoffs to play. We are just glad that Washington allowed him to play the most important matches against France and GB. http://sport.tv2.dk/ishockey/2019-05-02-ellers-vm-deltagelse-skal-evalueres-fra-kamp-til-kamp http://sport.tv2.dk/ishockey/2019-05-15-dansk-nhl-profil-er-rejst-hjem-fra-vm (Both articles are about Eller's injury and the agreement)

  13. He was ranked 37th in St. Petersburg and scored 2 points. He's a bit down the individual ranking for one of the two European spots, and that is when you include the current team ranking after 1 event. http://fie.org/competitions/2019/147/results/rank

  15. From insidethegames.biz "The International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) Council has changed the format of the Rhythmic Gymnastic World Championships to make the event shorter. Participation in the Rhythmic Gymnastic World Championships will be limited to 105 gymnasts in individual events, with quotas distributed between the five continents. The results of the Continental Championships will determine the allocation of places to each federation. There will be a limit of three gymnasts per nation. For the group competition, participation will remain open to one group per federation in 2021 and 2022, and will be limited to a maximum of 30 groups for the 2023 World Championships. The number of days of competition will therefore be reduced to five, against seven for the 2018 worlds. From FIG Another change concerns the Team competition. This will take into account both the results of gymnasts in the Individual competition (the two scores on each of the four apparatus during the qualification competitions) and the Group competition (the scores of the two different exercises). The final of the individual All-Around competition will be reserved for the 18 best qualifiers (maximum of two per country) instead of the best 24 at the moment, while there is no change regarding the finals per apparatus with 8 gymnasts".
  16. From insidethegames.biz "The International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) Council has changed the format of the Artistic World Championships to make the event shorter. A qualifying system will be introduced to the Artistic Gymnastic World Championships, which will be based on results from continental championships and the Apparatus World Cup Series. The number of participants in the men's competition will be limited to 208, while the women's will be capped at 201. This will allow a reduction in the overall duration of the World Championships to 11 days, compared to 15 at the 2018 event, with two training days and two competition days less. These changes will be enforced from 2022". The qualifying system is composed as follows: From Men’s Artistic Women’s Artistic Continental Championships 24 teams of 5 gymnasts 24 teams of 5 gymnasts Continental Championships 40 gymnasts in the individual All-Around competition 49 gymnasts in the individual All-Around competition Apparatus World Cup Series 48 gymnasts (8 gymnasts per apparatus) 32 gymnasts (8 gymnasts per apparatus) Total 208 201

  18. Quite interesting article about the, quote-on quote, IAAF vs. C. Semenya case. (It's a bit long) https://sportsscientists.com/2019/05/on-dsds-the-theory-of-testosterone-performance-the-cas-ruling-on-caster-semenya/
  19. My votes for TAISC 2019: 12 point 11 point 10 point 9 points 8 points 7 points 6 points 5 points 4 points 3 points 2 points 1 points RESERVES 1st Reserve 2nd Reserve 3rd Reserve 4th Reserve After the first listening, there was no doubt that was going to receive my 12 points. I love Within Temptation and enjoy many of their songs, mostly those who came out many years ago. Sharon den Adel, what a voice! The places from 2-4 were also pretty much set after the first listening. and are two very beautiful songs. Zsa Zsa is just so amazing. great lyrics and a really catchy melody, especially the chorus. It has been stuck in my head for months now. and have really grown on me. They started out in the bottom of my top 12, but they have since rised up to 5th and 6th place on my top 12. The atmosphere of song is something I really like. brings back nostalgia. It reminds me of my late teens when I used to listen to a lot of indie-inspired songs like this one. are songs who have something where I can't stop humming those parts. They were also never out of my top 12 at any point. All great songs. The rest, 11-12, reserves, and many more, were all good songs, in my opinion, and it was very difficult to only select two of them for my top 12. It ended up being and . started as a reserve, but grew on me and became my favourite of the "rest". was the first song that was revealed for this contest and I think that has played a big role why it ended up being in my top 12. "Iba raz", those two words are constantly in my head with the very catchy chorus this song has. A big thanks goes to the fantastic @mrv86 for hosting a great contest, even though there was some technical issues during the process. The Danish Jury has really enjoyed their stay in beautiful Dolores Hidalgo, a city that is truly Pueblo Mágico. Guadalajara was likewise a great experience. Though, one juror of the Danish Jury got a bit sunburned, but nothing to worry about.
