That's the very essence of the sport. The drama and climax is what makes it fun to watch. Totally opposite of speed skating which offers nothing. I tried meanwhile giving time, but understood it wasn't happening it's way too dull and monotonous.

Speed skating is one of the most boring sports at the Olympics. I would have loved a roller skating like list of events - elimination race, points race, sprint race etc

Asian Youth Games is fine. Islamic & SEA games should be interesting.

Wait how Junior and Youth Events are added to Asian Games when there are standalone Games for the age group

Watched cheerleading first time today. I don't like artistic disciplines but felt the result was so accurate to someone watching it first time apart from a knowledgeable commentator. Amazing routine by the Americans to win gold. and win the minor medals.

Remember, it's the South East Asian Games. Events here are added months before the games and rules ammended too, to ensure host nation tops medal tally . Kabaddi federation has no idea of this 3x3 and other creative stuff that are happening. Cambodia had 8 golds in cricket including T6 (6 a side, 6 over game) a format not known to mankind internationally leave alone the governing body ICC. People may play 6 a side when there are not enough people as a pass time or something but 6 a side internationally did not exist

Yes, you can consider the 2026 WC. Also the '28 edition will be held in Feb/March that year in Australia and New Zealand, final confirmation will come by this year. For women's the WC could be after the Olympics making next year's result available for calculation

If Olympics goes to South East Asia one or both the sports could be played. Kabaddi for example is in the South East Asian Games this year with Thailand expected to win all 6 golds ( Normal Kabaddi, Kabaddi 3X3 and Circle Kabaddi) There were reports that Beach Kabaddi, Doubles, Mixed Doubles and Mixed Team Kabaddi were also considered.

There used to be ISTAF super series with grand finale before but it stopped after 2 years. It was fun.

Why no men's Lacrosse and flag football?

Beach handball has had some very close matches this time. Also it feels anyone can beat anyone. Tunisia came close to beating Portugal, Vietnam and Argentina, China beat Croatia.. A lot of matches decided by shoot out. I didn't know that Ukraine was so good at dragon boat racing wining 2 golds.

It was the first time watching something like that and I felt it would be a sport I wouldn't try or if I did not more than 10 seconds under water. I was watching it with wakeboarding semis from yesterday, beach handball and dragon boat and orienteering on the other tabs and devices. Wakeboarding and beach handball was providing lots of action with freediving keeping me stunned at how the swimmers were just continuing. I didn't like the rule of red card and white card. Instead the end should be swimmers coming to the top and giving a signal / raising hands , irrespective of what happens to them immediately afterwards. If they require support it should be given.

Love watching transparent sports so will watch Karate significantly on Day 2. Also interested in Disc Golf finals, Lifesaving, Korfball match of Suriname, Fistball, Dragon Boat Racing, Tug of War, Compound Archery and a little beach handball.

Good day 1 Got up early to watch few events - Disc Golf, Wakesurf, Wushu, Softball and Lacrosse Disc Golf a game I never saw before. Felt it was absurd at first but somehow with time it felt good. Do plan to watch QF and Finals of the same tomorrow. Went to office came back and found Lifesaving, Archery and lacrosse had missing replays or poor streaming (almost as good as none), not happy about it was planning to watch these. Got time for some Latin, Muay thai and Wushu however. Ended the day with the much anticipated Korfball match between and which the former won 15-14 in a tight and exciting finish. Missed few sports due to technical glitches as well as some due to busy schedule ( Inline Hockey v ) and Korfball between China and Taiwan. Will catch up with those tomorrow.

Is anyone facing issue on the World Games website?

Was really looking forward to this as I don't watch softball outside the multi sports games. Nonetheless will watch floorball all day.
