And another Paris build-up thread.

1. ATHLETICS - M High Jump

2. ATHLETICS - W High Jump

(cause i love the event)

3. ATHLETICS - W 100m (Ewa Swoboda)

4. ATHLETICS - W 400m (Natalia Kaczmarek)

5. SPORT CLIMBING - W Speed (POL 1-2????)

OK, 5 is not enough

6. VOLLEYBALL - M Tournament (will POL make it through QFs finally???)

7. SWIMMING - M 200m Butterfly (hard to find one the most entertaining event for swimming - almost all the swimming events are extremely entertaining for me - but this is biggest chance for a medal for POL due to Krzysztof Chmielewski)

8. ATHLETICS - W 800m (this is a favourite event for my family members)

9. CYCLING ROAD - M Race (because it's men's road cycling at the olympics)

10. BASKETBALL - M Tournament (because it's men's basket at the olympics)

I surely have missed sth...

I’ll go with my top 15, in no particular order:

3x3 Basketball: Women’s Tournament

Basketball: Men’s Tournament

Soccer: Men’s Tournament (depends on who plays)

Judo: Women’s -57kg (top 2 judoka in the OQR, unfortunately only one will qualify)

Volleyball: Men’s Tournament

Volleyball: Women’s Tournament (only if Canada qualifies)

Beach Volleyball: Men’s Tournament

Beach Volleyball: Women’s Tournament

Athletics: Men’s Decathlon (Pierce LePage and Damian Warner both in contention for gold)

Athletics: Men’s Pole Vault (cause Mondo )

Athletics: Women’s High Jump (cause Olyslagers )

Tennis: Men’s Singles

Swimming: Women’s 400IM (guaranteed gold for Summer McIntosh barring anything disastrous)

Boxing: Women’s 75kg (Tammara Thibeault is looking unstoppable right now)

Swimming: Women’s 400m Freestyle/Men’s 100m Butterfly (If Milak and Dressel can get back to form in time for Paris, men’s 100m butterfly would be tied on my list with women’s 400m freestyle and the highly anticipated battle between Katie Ledecky, Ariarne Titmus, and McIntosh)

Also men’s 200m butterfly for Illya Kharun.

IMO Wasick is more of a medal favourite in the women’s 50m freestyle than Chmielewski in the men’s 200m butterfly considering how consistent she’s been, but we’ll see what times he can produce at the US Open in a couple of days.

If I stick to five, I'd say:

Athletics 400mH W

Athletics 4x400m W

Road cycling M race

Cross country cycling W race

Swimming 100m freestyle W

If Femke Bol, Mathieu van der Poel, Puck Pieterse and Marrit Steenbergen all win a medal that would be amazing! :cheer:

I also wanted to include the athletics 400m W, road marathons, rowing w1x, beach volleyball and sport climbing (boulder+lead), but five was not much...

can't wait for Marcel Jacobs doublin' up Tokyo's Gold and get GBR and USA completely mad, especially after switching to Reider as a coach :raspberry:

outside that, I just can't choose only 5 events...even 5 sports is not enough

I can only name the 5/6 sports I won't watch for any reason in the world (who wants to guess? :p )
