after narrowly surviving the first round, the final round was easy and Iran qualified for the World Cup today for the 3rd time in a row. have to admit that looked impossible a year ago but postponing everything because of COVID helped Iran.

Some crazy shit in vs . Ecuador had the goalkeeper send off after 15 minutes and Brazilian GK Allison was shown red card twice only to have them both rescinded on VAR (one was changed to yellow). Brazil had another player send off after 20 minutes anyway and VAR rescinded penalty for Ecuador. Game finished 1-1
