Remember that Italy doesn't count time limit for Paris this year. This meeting is valid only for Fukuoka.

Ireland is the same. Daniel Wiffen won that 400m event in Stockholm and it was well under the OQT but it won’t count for Ireland. We can only achieve the time at world championships in 2023, 2024 or the Irish Open in 2024

It is counted, also with Stockholm

yes, but our National Fedration doesn't take any clocking from this year into account to qualify.

our swimmers have only 3 chances to make the Olympic team: a) winning a medal in Fukuoka next summer, b) matching the NF qualifying time (which is way more strict than the FINA's OQT) at the Winter Nationals in December, c) same as b) but referred to the 2024 Spring Nationals (in 12 Months).

any result in any other meet is not a qualifying result for :ITA

by the way, Today we recorded 6 qualifying times for Fukuoka:

Marco De Tullio (3.44.69, men's 400m Free)

Simona Quadarella (8.21.14, women's 800m Free)

Lisa Angiolini (1.06.18, women's 100m Breast)

Alberto Razzetti (1.54.98, men's 200m Fly)

Sara Franceschi (4.35.98, women's 400m IM)

Leonardo Deplano (21.89, men's 50m Free)

in general, very disappointing times in all the races...I expected a lot more from our top swimmers, at least from those who are not recovering from injuries.
