  1. I'd commend if I believed it would be possible to have a calm discussion on this on Totallympics, but...yeah I'll just go for a Yes, Yes and Yes on the three questions (with the small caveat that on question 3 I feel for some athletes, while for others I certainly don't).
  2. Which means I'm not too worried here. HBO will let me turn on a maximum of two streams at a time, so with my expected setup, I'll definitely have plenty of real estate to watch what I want: - TV - Desktop - Laptop - Phone - Tablet On each of those I can turn on a regular TV channel and with Dutch, Belgian, German and British TV available (and even Eurosport 1 and 2 if they are showing something at that moment) I'm sure at least one of them will always have something I want to see. Plus then there's still space for two HBO streams to watch something that isn't on any of the TV channels at that given moment. With the monthly Eurosport cost going out, a sports add-on on HBO MAX also isn't going to be much of an extra cost, maybe 1 or 2 euro per month more for something I use countless hours every single week of the year.
  3. Meanwhile more bombs going off in Gaza today, with as per usual conflicting reports: one side says "40+ terrorists killed after an attack on Hamas infrastructure", the other side says "residential building was hit". No way for us to know, since both are definitely realistic (Israel simply attacking a residential building is - sadly - realistic, Hamas terrorists using regular residents and/or some of their many hostages as human shield is realistic as well).
  4. Problem would be fixed by simply letting both teams in, surely the track in Paris can accomodate a 9th team in a heat.
  5. No idea, Topatletieklive pointed towards this and I think as of right now this is the closest we can get to anything official, until actual announcements are made of course
  6. Apparently not https://worldathletics.org/stats-zone/road-to/7153115?eventId=204593
  7. I wouldn't know why not. If a country has at least 1 ticket for the Olympics available, I assume it's more or less up to them to decide who gets that ticket (out of eligible athletes).
  8. Oh damn, that was the last chance for the Dutch men, who will now miss out despite running an equal time to the team that will make it
  9. Thanks, that helps! Too bad they don't seem to be able to do so with neutral titles, but that's an issue with so many broadcasters, so I'm kind of trained to open videos without seeing that, mostly
  10. Can the US trials be seen (not live, but on demand) anywhere? I doubt anything non-American shows it and those American things often seem next to impossible to watch if you're not American.
  11. Same here, never heard of her Which I know is on me, someone running 10.77 is something I really should have noticed Also, to be fair, 10.96 and 22.45 last year, it's not like she came out of nowhere neither.
  12. Meanwhile Robert Stannard received a 4-year suspension. Which ended 2 years ago, so all fine..
  13. Oh oh, I know this one! Michael Rasmussen! Nice throwback from Piccolo. Both to Rasmussen, for the Mexico thing, and even further to the famous Raimondas Rumsas doping smuggling case, I feel like I'm back in my childhood in terms of watching cycling
  14. For being in the way of the goalkeeper? Kind of, considering Dumfries shouldn't have been there. Goalkeeper would never have gotten the ball anyway, because he had barely even gotten up, but oh well. Dumfries is enthousiastic and seems to be nice (despite his super angry look), but with these kind of things isn't always the brightest bulb in the house
  15. Depay today Every single pass is a total miss.
  16. In that case, we'll just keep hopes up, at least that
  17. Of course I believe it Not saying that for sure Slovakia will go through (although I hope it), but if you've got 3 points after two matches, you simply are not at all out yet, no matter how you look at it I mean, there's two groups where 3rd place only has a single point and another group where they have 2 points, and not all groups are done with their second round of matches yet. Right now, 16 teams played two matches and roughly half of them are already in a worse position than Slovakia is, which will be even more after tomorrow.
  18. At least you still definitely have a chance, come on, 3 points are valuable nowadays
  19. Too bad Arnautovic for once keeps his cool and doesn't take off his shirt
  20. Szczczzcesny really, really escaping a red card....
  21. And a yellow for Arnautovic for his usual aggressive bullshit. Apparently wisdom doesn't come with age for some people.
  22. Lewandowski very narrowly escaping a red card for elbowing an Austrian, 2 minutes after entering the match And 2-1 Austria!
  23. Two finals worth of non-French are going to have a say in that, but yeah... At least it's very good they discovered it now, instead of when it's too late. Don't mess with heart problems.
  24. Now 11 Slovaks in the goal please and they're through
