  1. Yep, although that one isn't really expected to be too much trouble. Definitely not compared to what especially Bangladesh is awaiting.
  2. And France withdrew 'because Georges Pompidou died the week before', sure.
  3. Bowyer cleaning some trash from Hamlin's grill...only for said trash to end up on poor Tyler Reddick's car (Truex then tried to help him out, without much luck, so to calm stuff down a caution came in)
  4. Drivers and crew are wearing face masks, but still standing directly next to each other. Oh NASCAR, you never fail to disappoint 'Murica
  5. So out of major competitions, only France and Germany have any kind of decision and the rest still has no clue?
  6. No qualifying, no training, draws for starting positions...but who cares
  7. I'm surprised how consistent that number is, considering 472 and 524 are the outer edges.
  8. And every year I'm hearing "Damn, so many famous people died this year, can't wait for the year to end " There's just more famous people nowadays, and so more famous people die. Which sucks, and is obviously sad for the people involved, but apart from a virus messing with stuff I don't think one year is much worse than the other on a global scale
  9. Says the internet every single year, again and again, because every year apparently people die and things happen Not to make this case any less sad, of course.
  10. Option A: official competition, but with music videos or performances from local studios Option B: some filler shows now, but the real deal - with a full-blown competition when possible of course - next year Option B sounds infinitely better (and way more fair) for every single person involved, from fans to singers and hosts. I am very happy they didn't go for A, that'd have been so boring.
  11. It would be pretty weird if the show was moved somewhere else, so I don't think there was much doubt about that Good that it's confirmed
  12. Probably not Not watching this, but in quite some years of watching Eurovision I can't remember a single host being actually good, both in terms of not too much of an accent and being not incredibly cheesy with painfully not funny jokes
  13. Well that was painful to watch As exciting as watching some pre-season warm-up game in the middle of nowhere on a Wednesday morning.
  14. I wonder how many tests that will eat up from people where they're actually needed
  15. Because Van der Sar was getting old and retiring and so on Stekelenburg wasn't bad, although of course Tim Krul absolutely stole his show forever with the epic substitute at the World Cup where Krul came in for penalties only and took the team to the semis
  16. It was in 2001 against Andorra (2002 WC qualifiers, that didn't go so well), apparently I had the shirts entirely wrong because this is the moment when he came in for Victor Sikora 2001 was still firmly in Edwin van der Sar's time Two years later it was Wesley Sneijder's entry, I do remember he had made his debut (two matches) and then in the Euro qualifier playoffs against Scotland, which went bad in the first match, the coach threw the whole thing around and in the return young Sneijder was the absolute star and the team demolished Scotland 6-0
  17. Dominating is one thing, being (almost?) the only nationality competing is another
  18. Right, let's make that a glass of milk instead of anything alcohol, that sounds like a better idea. I'd still pour you that glass though, no worries.
  19. Oh no, self-reflection stays buddy Let me pour you a drink.
  20. Jeez, Van der Vaart, Huntelaar and Robben were in World Cups (be it U20) in 2001?! No way I was watching that stuff back then, but somehow I do 100% remember Van der Vaart's national team debut. Not against which nation it was, I just somehow vividly remember the moment he entered the pitch (in sort of grey shirts, I believe), no idea why
  21. There's a lot more than Southern California. A whole lot of people actually said they were woken up rather roughly, so one can assume a whole lot of people were woken up rather roughly.
  22. Oh my gosh I am so shocked a major federation/company/whatever changes their 'digital strategy'
