  1. I would say the thing to try is kibbeling (a kind of fried fish) Haring (raw fish) with onions as well, but yeah stroopwafels are on there too
  2. Jeez, this thread escalated to personal Gestapo-attacks faster than Minneapolis did to riots.
  3. Journalists definitely do have the right to record and broadcast what's happening though. Didn't watch the video yet, but from what I'm reading it doesn't seem like they were doing much wrong.
  4. Meanwhile the Dutch competition has been cancelled for a while, but the cup hasn't. Now there's talk for the final to be played....on Bonaire
  5. It seems to make more sense than restarting football on 17 June
  6. Have a stroopwafel and we're good.
  7. Twitter trolling Trump is pretty fun to watch, one can just imagine the almost literal steam coming out of his ears.
  8. MotoGP races in Great Britain and Australia (Phillip Island ) are officially cancelled for the year.
  9. You are here I definitely offered to pour you a drink a week (maybe two) ago, but sadly you refused my offer. Like a knife in the feels.
  10. Will you finally accept that drink now? Alcoholic, soda, milk, juice, the choice is yours
  11. It better comes back, otherwise they tore down the wonderful dunes (which were way better a viewing area than some basic grandstands) towards the first turn for nothing..
  12. Countries are starting to drop the masks rule and here on Monday the first situations where masks are obligated come into effect (public transport)
  13. In this situation, you mean, surely? Because people like the psycho that killed Floyd are definitely not your average policeman, just take a look around on internet where arguably a lot more policemen dare speak up (because anonymously) than on the street. Your average policeman would have cuffed the guy and transported him to the station or something, not kneeled in his neck.
  14. If you think that's the main point I'm worried about, you haven't read my posts right at all. I'm worried about things like George Floyd's death happening in the first place (I've made that quite abundantly clear), and about people worsening the situation by rampaging through a city which can do nothing more but cause more victims and in the end cause more situations like exactly the one that started these specific riots.
  15. Yes, a right to be pissed - like I had already said in exactly the post you quoted. Not a right to burn down the city and use this as an opportunity for nothing else but stealing stuff and destroying other people's property. They are indeed very much messing up George Floyd's memory with this.
  16. You'd think that'd be obvious, but the Brazilian federation has only yesterday sent out a message that FIS rollerski races in July are cancelled, until then they were still acting under the impression there would be no problem in holding them.
  17. For fuck's sake, how often do these federations need to be told? First have a decent World Cup circuit for a few years!
  18. Meanwhile, the South American season has apparently been cancelled. Some confusing about exactly what the situation is: Brazilians decided they're not going even if it's possible, which at the moment it's not? Argentinians and Chileans decided to cancel their races? It's South American winter sports, nobody knows what the plan is until after the finish, but probably the races won't happen.
  19. Oh no, the one race I thought could not be made more boring in the women's category.... (that includes Johaug's victories, yes)
  20. This smells rather yellow-vesty as well. "We're mad at the government, so we're going to firebomb your shop and flip and then burn your car." thefuck.jpg
  21. Hard to say, but at least when you look around on places like Reddit, you see there is a shitload of police officers reacting to this and pretty much all of them can barely even describe how horrified they are at things like this happening. Because unlike what some people want you to believe, it's not a majority of police officers who think this is ok to do. Most just really don't, rightfully so of course.
  22. Yeah, but every single piece of history has shown that they very much will do exactly that, and use the 'opportunity' to steal stuff. Really, you can be rightfully incredibly angry at what happened, which was an utter atrocity, but you really don't need to be running on the street with a brand new huge-ass TV you picked out of a store to make your point.
  23. Yeah, this needs to be controlled fast, before more shops are destroyed by people who only see this as an opportunity to get free stuff, and before not only the poor dude is a victim, but the riots themselves cause victims as well..
