  1. Complete Swedish team has been announced too... Quite disappointing to see them suddenly ignoring pretty much all non-Olympic events (except endurance). Also, quite shocking to see Sara Algotsson-Ostholt with Wega!! That's her London 2012 Olympic silver medal horse, but since then they literally entered only one true eventing competition (basically to get a qualification)! It should be great to see them again after all that time.
  2. Time to watch first ever field hockey shootouts for me.
  3. @OlympicIRL would enjoy that.
  4. That's it. I already hate this WEG. Clarke Johnstone & Balmoral Sensation are the latest combination to drop out... Sammi Birch & Hunter Valley + Clarke Johnstone & Balmoral Sensation withdrawing is like literally picking my favorite combinations. Now only Selena O'Hanlon & Woody need to drop out to complete the perfect trifecta..

  7. So, after being dead last (excluding Wanderer) for 19/21 stages, eventually I finish in front of cycling superfans like @heywoodu and @Gianlu33
  8. So, Ireland has a chance to eliminate home Olympic champions. Probably not going to happen, but still.
  9. Horvat podigao NR u motki na 5.71.
  10. Alex Hua Tian & Don Geniro, who finished in a historic 8th position at Rio 2016, failed to fulfill the minimum eligibility standards for WEG after yet another cross-country elimination (this time at Campfire International in Ireland)... Who knows, maybe they'll reroute to Asian Games now for a sure gold. Alex however did reach the minimum standards aboard Vivendi, but he won't be aiming for top 10 with that one.
  11. There will be active reserves in all disciplines, which could be put forward at any point of the competitions if necessary.
  12. Alright, FIH needs to make sure there is not conflict between WC and AG in the future... Scandalous performance from the Asian teams.
  13. Victory for Ireland.

  15. That's some heavy rain starting now.
  16. Gooooold I think it's the first one for me since women's football euro or something.
  17. Good read. Honestly, at times it looks like only Totallympics is against those pop-up mix events.
  18. I guess Germany in team dressage, but even that's not so safe... Andrew Hoy in individual eventing, one can board the hypetrain and hope.
  19. If Netherlands or Greece fail to make Olympics again, then things are flying here...
  20. Don't forget about the opening ceremony getting delayed for 4 hours because the president is missing.
  21. Also, I'm pretty sure Western Sahara will lose their participation rights now.
  22. So, after banning Moroccan participation for 30 years, they put it back just like that because they can't find a host.
  23. Archery: 0-1, slight chance in men's individual, but the sport is very unpredictable Artistic Swimming: 0, had a good team before Rio and yet the federation didn't even bother to send them to the qualification event... Athletics: 7-13, quite difficult to predict with the new system. but I guess somewhere in that area Badminton: 0-1, outside chance for Đurkinjak in singles Baseball: 0 Basketball: 0-16, chance in both men's indoor and 3x3 Beach Volleyball: 0 Boxing: 1-3, only men Canoeing - Slalom: 0-1, hopefully finally some luck for Marinić Canoeing - Sprint: 0-1, hopefully a comeback with Novaković Cycling - BMX: 0-1, Rantes definitely has a good chance, but very few quotas could be a problem Cycling - Mountain Bike: 0 Cycling - Road: 1 Cycling - Track: 0 Diving: 0-2, chances in men's and women's springboard Equestrian: 0-1, a chance in a very optimistic scenario. Paris Games should be a better chance for Karen Pavicic though Fencing: 0-1, system is very hard for the individual fencers, even if we have a talented junior. Field Hockey: 0 Football: 0-18, it will be hard, but maybe men's team will get inspired by senior performance in Russia Golf: 0 Gymnastics - Artistic: 2-4, with a new system a chance to have a couple of apparatus specialists. Gymnastics - Rhythmic: 0 Gymnastics - Trampoline: 0 Handball: 14-28, men's team should be in, women's in a very lucky scenario. Judo: 1-4 Karate: 0-2, one would be great with thin quotas. Modern Pentathlon: 0 Rowing: 3-7, two experienced crews are in, a couple of outsiders could be looking in, especially among women. Rugby Sevens: 0 Sailing: 6-11, Laser, Laser Radial, Finn, 49er, women's RS:X should be safe, good chance in 49er FX and men's RS:X, outside chance in 470 Shooting: 3-7, hopefully with participants in all three disciplines - shotgun, rifle, pistol Skateboarding: 0 Softball: 0 Sport Climbing: 0-1, in a very optimistic outcome there may be one Surfing: 0 Swimming: 2-4 Table Tennis: 1-4, a chance for men's team Taekwondo: 2-4 Tennis: around 5-7 Triathlon: 0 Volleyball: 0 Water Polo: 11, men's team Weightlifting: 1, I'm quite confident one will come up through reallocations, bans, doping reductions, reduced max quotas etc... Wrestling: 1-3 Total Sports: 15-27 Optimistic Total Athletes: 158 Realistic Total Athletes: 84 Pessimistic Total Athletes: 61
