  1. Julia Krajewski & Samourai du Thot eliminated following the 3rd refusal. What a shock. If German selectors take this combination again then they are just plain stupid. She already screwed them over at both Rio Olympics and Strzegom Europeans.

  3. Where else would it be? They would build a track in Mexico/Argentina for some Pan American experiment?
  4. Ridiculous WR if you ask me. For years nobody could break 9 minutes, and now suddenly 8:44...
  5. Ridiculous taekwondo result... Did Venezuelan make 18 head kicks or something?
  6. I have a friend who is spending the summer close to San Francisco. But I somehow doubt he'll be attending this.
  7. Many changes in the very influential show jumping phase. France jumped from last to 2nd. 79.40 90.90 92.50 96.80 105.20 113.70 114.90
  8. They should, team size shouldn't matter as long as it's a team.
  9. Wow, that's really unexpected and exciting. Hopefully they can keep it up over the next phases. 4th placed Espinosa should be their best bet after a quick look on their records. Also nice top 10 for Barbadian Archer. Unlike many others here, Barbadians compete in Florida, so I wouldn't be surprised if they excel during the cross-country stage in particular.
  10. Another day, another Nations Cup in Aachen. This time in eventing. Standings after dressage... 72.40 82.50 85.20 85.70 86.80 89.70 90.90 Next phase (show jumping) will be held later today at 17:45 CET...
  11. Mixed events are of course not the answer, but removing competitive men's events and/or quotas from small nations isn't either. Smaller teams could lose significant percentages of their team sizes, and why? Because Czech Republic and Germany should be able to field a hockey team that will lose all matches. Yay.
  12. Australia has named its dressage team Mary Hanna (Boogie Woogie) Alexis Hellyer (Bluefields Floreno) Kristy Oatley (Du Soleil) Brett Parberry (DP Weltmieser) New Zealand has named its dressage individuals Julie Brougham (Vom Feinsten) John Thompson (Antonello) So, since Japan is prequalified and New Zealand decided not send a team, Australia is basically guaranteed to get the Group G team spot for Tokyo.
  13. And yet the most of it will be in the morning European time... And at the same time. At this point I'm honestly hoping for morning swimming finals.
  14. Mesotitsch, Graf, another Claude, Heywoodu. Sounds reasonable. Much like Lahaye-Goffart, you will start the final leg of relay with at least a minute of lead.
  15. Victory secured for Germany, following the second round charge. Quite interesting what they seem to be doing. Like last year, they continue to regularly put this inexperienced team into the big competitions, and looks like they are starting to get results.
  16. First penalties for both Netherlands and Switzerland. Belgium is in a decent position now.
  17. Netherlands just went full troll. Schuttert wasn't even supposed to start as NED has secured 0. However he did start and ofc jumped clear, 0.01 inside the time.
  18. Margie Engle Supergrandma might have just secured herself WEG selection.
