  4. Has anyone checked FIS results recently? Apparently there is a new column, "2020 points". Looks like they plan to reduce number of nations at the Olympics, as 2020 points are always higher.
  5. We will be represented by 22 athletes (11 M + 11 W)... Men Mateo Ružić (400 m, 4x400 m relay) Sven Cepuš (800 m, 4x400 m relay) Hrvoje Čukman (400 m hurdles, 4x400 m relay) Daniel Daly (Marathon) Bruno Erent (50 km walk) Filip Mihaljević (Shot put) Stipe Žunić (Shot put) Filip Pravdica (Long jump) Ivan Horvat (Pole vault) Mateo Kovačić (4x400 m relay) Mateo Parlov (4x400 m relay) WomenAndrea Ivančević (100 m hurdles) Ivana Lončarek (100 m hurdles) Bojana Bjeljac (Marathon) Matea Matošević-Hačić (Marathon) Nikolina Stepan (Marathon) Nikolina Šuštić-Stanković (Marathon) Ivana Renić (50 km walk) Sandra Perković (Discus throw) Marija Tolj (Discus throw) Anamari Kožul (Hammer throw) Ana Šimić (High jump) Perković is obviously our main hope, but there is also Žunić (World bronze medalist from London). Mihaljević, Šimić and Horvat will hopefully reach the event finals. Cepuš, Ivančević and Lončarek should be aiming for semifinals. Hope to see at least one PB from our marathon runners.

  8. Bestmen put it in the opening post, but it obviously got removed. https://caaasaba2018.com.ng/
  9. Looks like I'm in a crazy prediction contest shape. Hopefully I'll keep it up through WEG.
  10. Yeah, now that it's Olympic qualification, I can see 3x3 events popping-up everywhere and nations with most events qualifying. Surely China will qualify in both genders. Hopefully Andorra will be organizing competitions every single day.
  11. I don't really know all of the hockey rules, but umpires not recognizing Korea's late equalizer against the hosts looked somewhat fishy...
  12. FIBA got this on a fake excuse of bringing new nations. So yeah, I'm all for Andorra and Mongolia trolling their way in.
  13. Continental events, World championships and World U23 championships (???, I have no idea why, it's stupid).
  14. Still very, very early days. Plus, there are other ways to qualify.
  15. There is actually, but only for one gender.
  16. Surely it has nothing to do with Toth.
  17. are also universality countries so I doubt it changes much.
  18. With this briliant IOC/IAAF movie, we will be looking to have a record number of nations with 1 (male) athlete. would all have had one male athlete at Rio Olympics had these rules been applied. And a whole bunch of nations would have had fewer female athletes (if any). But hey, now we have mixed gender relay. And surfing.
  19. 3x3 basketball has an interesting quota place dedicated for universality. Only nations who haven't participated in basketball at the last two Olympics are eligible. Therefore, will all be excluded...
  20. I'm afriad it's not a mistake. I've checked Rio system, it's exactly the same except here we have or instead of and.
  21. Yay, they cut quotas from small nations. Looks like they can no longer enter 1+1 athletes per default, but rather only 1 athlete. Thank God, Olympics will surely be saved with such measures! Goodbye development of women's athletics in such countries. IOC's "gender equality" is such a scam.
  22. And who apparently hasn't logged to Totallympics snice Day 2 of Rio Olympics.
