  1. I guess this was too awkward to forget...
  2. Results system is experiencing some errors at the moment, but looks like Dittmann opened the South African account with 62.239%.
  3. Like you so infamously did with Tonga in 2016...
  4. Yeah, this is a meltdown for Spain... Now 3:0 down.
  5. France leads 1:0.
  6. They have two athletes qualified at the moment - Seymour and Ferreira. Dittman has one of two required 66% results. Smith meanwhile has competed lightly so far, but has been really unlucky. First she got 65.957% in Cappeln, and then 66.283% in Waregem (which does not count, because for some strange reason there was not any 5* judge on the panel in Waregem ).There should be enough time left for at least one of them to qualify though.
  7. Creatures of the night.
  8. https://www.insidethegames.biz/articles/1086306/tokyo-counter-ioc-sapporo-switch
  9. Yeah, maybe they will investigate some dubious results, but there is no way they cancel WR, or change its formula. That would be just asking for a lawsuit. Also, keep in mind that all Mongolian tournaments were streamed on their infamous MGL 3x3 Facebook page. I wonder if that can be a conclusive proof of their qualification (and human rights abuse).
  10. If Brazil sweeps this, then probably every continental team qualifier in TT will be sweeped. Yawn.
  11. But then again, this 3x3 thing is probably too small of a fish for someone who was covering Russian cover-up or IOC corruptions. I guess we should find someone though - and before the next week's ceremony.
  12. Well, Sohi recently took over the ride on former British team horse Don Carissimo. She scored 61.6% on debut in early October, and then just a little higher last weekend. Of course, nobody expects her to get 72-74% scores that Gareth Hughes was getting on that horse. And she doesn't need that for Tokyo anyway - 66% or more would be enough to challenge Morocco and Palestine for the individual quota places. However, Tokyo will probably come too soon for them. Qualification period ends on December 31st, and that leaves them very little time for improvement. I watched them compete on their debut. Potential is there, but there were oh-so-many cheap rhythm mistakes, which can be only rectified with more training = more time. Participation at 2022 WEG is more realistic.
  13. Anyone knows an investigative journalist? From ITG maybe? @Dragon probably has connections.
  14. Presumably they will be mixed in-between various individual riders from other nations. Overall, entry list includes GP riders from . Group F nations of Iran and Palestine have individuals only.
  15. Iran qualified in men's time trial instead of Luxembourg. Rest is okay, I think.
  16. Team competition is apparently scheduled for Friday, starting at 18:15 local time
  17. It's interesting to check how many individuals have qualified for women's road race over the years... 2008 - 6 cyclists 2012 - 10 cyclists 2016 - 12 cyclists 2020 - 17 (!) cyclists So... This Individual Top 100 rule is not aging well... At all. So much so that in 2020 only 6 nations will have more than 2 cyclists.
  18. Burkina Faso, Panama and Paraguay in road cycling. Now hopefully one of them will find the finish line next year.
  19. This we know - Panama qualified in cycling.
  20. And there's always a possibility that they removed Olympic rankings because they realized it was different from the World rankings, even though it was not supposed to be.
  21. But from the pure public relations standpoint, it would make sense to keep the Olympic rankings page... And not expect athletes / media / stakeholders / fans to scroll through the World rankings. This probably caused some confusion all over.
  22. Also, I can spot some inconsistencies in the World rankings. How come Austria is 14th? They were 18th in the latest Olympic rankings. Such rise is suspect at least, as they didn't get any Top 3 result last week. Maybe not all races counted for Olympic rankings.
  23. Well, World ranking will change on Monday, so it would very much make sense to keep the Olympic ranking.
