    Mongolia is now less than 200k ahead of Taiwan. Sadly they may miss out. In another battle, Romania's lead over France is now only 25k.

    Same with Croatian and Slovenian. Slovenians though allegedly understand us more easily than we understand them. Also Croatian with Serbian, Bosnian, Montenegrin... But these languages are very similar obviously.

    That's interesting... Only Wikipedia seems to point out that the equestriam events were held in Karuizawa? Equestrian articles mainly suggest that the venue was Baji Koen, which will also play host in 2020.

    Yeah, I don't think IOC could change a venue just like that. Marathons are supposed to be a big deal, especially in Japan. It is/was scheduled to be the first marathon with a finish in the Olympic stadium since 2008.

    She competes in jumping. She made a couple of Spanish teams over the years (including 2014 WEG), so she probably stands an outside chance of being selected next year. I believe she married a Mexican rider recently.

    Apparently the CCI4*-S competition in Chile turned out to be a bit of a massacre... This rather complicates things for Brazil. So much so that any chance of securing minimum requirements in South American events is already gone.
