  1. I'm honestly amazed to see how well received Czech Republic is today. One of the nations that tended to stay somewhere in the shadows even when they sent good songs.
  2. Oh wow, thanks a bunch @Illya for the silver medal!
  3. And here I thought Lithuania is ending on 8 points. Thank you, Great Britain!!!
  4. Oh wow, thanks a lot @Vic Liu for the 8 points!
  5. Fairly respectable showing for team Lithuania in Sjusjoen. Pretty decent shooting, salvagable ski-speed. Strolia looked good, Tomas and Gabrielė okay, whilst the others have some work ahead of them.
  6. Really can't compare these things, since some tracks have more climbing, some have more downhills, different approaches to turns that can kill speed and all that stuff. What you can do mostly is look at who is beating who, basing a lot of your info on previous seasons. As an example, Giacomel looks really improved if he took second place after Samuelsson and didn't lose too much seconds either.
  7. I'm okay with Sunday, since I actually have time to join yall on Sunday
  8. I don't think he would've survived to be fuming rn
  9. In my case, it's mostly the uncertainty that the final is capable of being held tomorrow, because it's nearly midnight (in my country) and I can only assume that other nations didn't receive their voting templates. On top of that, the schedule is yet unknown as well. I'm not against the final tomorrow, I just think that there are some users that didn't really expect the deadline to be met, since there was a week long hiatus, thus this final feels a tad rushed. As a former host, I would probably beg to postpone it to next Saturday, but perhaps everything is more under control that I think it is.
  10. Well, if the contest is actually happening tomorrow, I won't be here to post my votes and I'll be gone pretty much throughout the entire day, but have fun everyone!
  11. So that's why we're suddenly allowed to send 4 cc skiers Well, the results are certainly not going to be good, but we're going to have the biggest Lithuanian team that the Winter Olympics have ever seen, since we nearly secured 5 spots in biathlon, we have 2 for figure skating and 2 for alpine skiing.
  12. Huge, 6 men and 3 women for Lithuania
  13. Is it safe to assume that all users were able to vote during this time frame, or did we lose anyone? @Dnl
  14. A handful of Lithuanian biathletes are going to start their biathlon season next weekend in the Norwegian championships. It's nice that we're back after missing the championships last year.
  15. Based on user activity, what are the actual chances that our host decides to ever come back?
  16. If only @Agger predicted that this would happen, he would have voted with weeks to spare
  17. So......... when do we hit the fire alarm?
  18. Lithuanian votes are in, the selection in this contest didn't really blow me away, unfortunately
  19. You can't take away the fact that she was better at retiring
  20. I really don't have much time to spare this time around, so I decided that I was going to be brutal from the very first listen. No one was safe. 17 songs survived. Edit: forgot to add that for the first time in forever, nobody struck a 5/5 and I don't know where my 12 points are going to yet.
  21. Oof, so Marozaitė and Krupeckaitė skipping both championships alltogether, interesting. I remember them saying they're going to be preparing for it after the Olympics.
  22. I've no idea if we're sending anyone, but we'll probably know one day before the championship starts. Krupeckaitė and Marozaitė skipped the Europeans, perhaps so they could have a better chance starting here? Lendel, Jonauskas and Baleišytė would be additional good bets for athletes that might be representing Lithuania here.
