  1. Based on user activity, what are the actual chances that our host decides to ever come back?
  2. If only @Agger predicted that this would happen, he would have voted with weeks to spare
  3. Lithuanian votes are in, the selection in this contest didn't really blow me away, unfortunately
  4. You can't take away the fact that she was better at retiring
  5. I really don't have much time to spare this time around, so I decided that I was going to be brutal from the very first listen. No one was safe. 17 songs survived. Edit: forgot to add that for the first time in forever, nobody struck a 5/5 and I don't know where my 12 points are going to yet.
  6. Oof, so Marozaitė and Krupeckaitė skipping both championships alltogether, interesting. I remember them saying they're going to be preparing for it after the Olympics.
  7. I've no idea if we're sending anyone, but we'll probably know one day before the championship starts. Krupeckaitė and Marozaitė skipped the Europeans, perhaps so they could have a better chance starting here? Lendel, Jonauskas and Baleišytė would be additional good bets for athletes that might be representing Lithuania here.
  8. I'm so confused right now, but it seems that everybody is now in and we're up to 37 songs in total? I was looking forward to doing a first listen today, since I have some free time, but I'm not entirely certain if I can just yet
  9. Really shocked that both of the Tunisians decided to implode when nobody expected it.
  10. @intoronto is counting the days till Camila Cabello finally marries Shawn Mendes, renounces her citizenship to become a full-fledged Canadian and then Canada will send a song in Spanish
  11. Yeah, I know, I just didn't want to be factually incorrect, because you're from a multi-lingual country
  12. I thought about going to the concert in Krakow as well, but I really need to save my money to fund my own music career right now. I also heard rumours that it is difficult to enjoy his concerts from the sounds of shrieking banshees, I mean little girls. Perhaps now that he's more mature, his audience has grown up with him a bit? I'll be curious though how you enjoyed it all, I watched the Netflix documentary, which pretty much circled around his tour and it was an awesome watch, especially since I was stuck in my home with 1 year of no work during the pandemic
  13. Not gonna lie, I completely blacked out the fact that that Weeknd song actually won the contest despite the tire screeching sounds during the video. That is why I somehow thought that only GB has two victories, but checked the statistics page just in case and here you go
  14. After you win once, you never aim for the win, unless you're Ireland Though Canada and Great Britain have two wins each as well, but they are also a primarily (bcuz Canada French too) English speaking country, so the tendencies lie with pro-English.
  15. Yes, yes and yes, apart from the fact that she only started training with us this summer
  16. Hey guys, whoah! You won't believe this! But we actually won a match too
  17. Rocket Brothers from Denmark was an interesting watch throughout The first TISC ever, I think got 11 points from me, only losing out to Hindi Zahra's "Beautiful Tango" from Morocco.
  18. I have faith, since Lithuania won with a static image The only way that a video influences my judging experience is for example video insert sounds like we've had with The Weeknd, which completely killed my listening experience every single time.
  19. The point of the contest is to judge it off of music only, so you shouldn't really worry about a video.
  20. When did we ever not have an extension in both posting a song and sending votes
  21. Perhaps @sami-eg wants to wave the flag for Egypt if @thepharoah is not in this year? There's also @AustralianFan for a chance to represent Australia, because @KingOfTheRhinos seems to be missing.
  22. Tunisia are pretty regular as well, missed one or two contests at best.
