  1. Oh, right, for some reason I forgot about that you also got a medal from Chile.
  2. I am really surprised that I am still the only one who gave you points.
  3. I think that's a new national record for Hungary. If I remember correctly, the previous record was 74 points.
  4. Well, that's probably the end of our streak, but it sure was a great and unexpected one.
  5. NED kinda started stalling, but SWE and AUS couldn't use this situation to their advantage so far.
  6. Did the draw just put almost all of our points at the end of leg 1 and the start of leg 2?
  7. 93 points is a lot after the 1st leg, right? Ireland had 82 points after 13 countries the last time and had an 8-point lead.
  8. Nice, after a slow start the end of the 1st leg went really well for us (10-8-9).
  9. Wow, thanks Tunisia! 3/3 from non-European countries and 0 points from the Europeans so far.
  10. So Serbia is the first country to get 2 12s, but they also only have 12s so far.
  11. PORTUGAL 12 NORWAY 11 ARGENTINA 10 SWEDEN 9 CROATIA 8 ALGERIA 7 AUSTRALIA 6 CHILE 5 LITHUANIA 4 DENMARK 3 NETHERLANDS 2 FINLAND 1 These were the votes of Hungary. Thank you all!
  12. NORWAY 11 ARGENTINA 10 SWEDEN 9 CROATIA 8 ALGERIA 7 AUSTRALIA 6 CHILE 5 LITHUANIA 4 DENMARK 3 NETHERLANDS 2 FINLAND 1
  13. Szép jó napot mindenkinek! Hello fellow Totallympians, this is Hungary calling! These are the results of the votes of the Hungarian National Jury: ARGENTINA 10 SWEDEN 9 CROATIA 8 ALGERIA 7 AUSTRALIA 6 CHILE 5 LITHUANIA 4 DENMARK 3 NETHERLANDS 2 FINLAND 1
  14. Smart move by the Hungarian basketball federation. They probably know that this is the best chance Hungary will ever get for a basketball medal at the SOG.
  15. Hm, after looking up the past results it seems like to me the biggest song usually doesn't win the contest.
  16. So who's winning this, Algeria or Algeria? Joking aside, I have no clue how this one will go. I mean, there are a couple of songs that I would be surprised about if they don't end up in the Top10, but I doubt that we have a song that will steamroll this and win it it with a larger margin.
  17. If nothing unexpected happens, I will be able to post the Hungarian votes on Saturday.

  19. Szereztünk egy kvótát országúti kerékpárban.
  20. It's time for FIBA to just cancel the WR qualification and let 6 or 7 teams qualify from the QT depending on which host team gets the automatic quota.
  21. I wish that a bigger newspaper would write a story about this, because it's truly bizarre. You don't have to be an Olympics fan to notice how ridiculous and broken this qualification system is.
  22. Nope, the new Puskás Arena can't function as an athletics stadium, it doesn't have a running track. They want to build another new stadium for athletics: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Athletics_Centre_(Budapest)
  23. I am not sure if anyone already mentioned this here, but I think there's a big chance that Budapest will lose the 2023 Athletics WCh now that the opposition won the local elections in Budapest, because they are against building new stadiums. Budapest currently doesn't have an athletics stadium and I am pretty sure they will stop the National Athletics Centre project with a referendum. Same goes for the new Handball arena for the 2022 Men's Handball ECh. With the result of this local election the number of top sport events will drop significantly in Budapest.
