  1. It probably won't be received too well in Ukraine, especially since their gymnastics is going through a great period and they probably have good conditions for training. However, it's not a well-known sport and person to cause a big scandal.
  2. Ok, but surely not everyone supports Nathanjahu? There were huge protests, right?
  5. It's hard to criticize Sinner after such an effort, but it should have ended in the 4th set. And the facts are that Sinner has a mental block in the game with Alcaraz and if that doesn't change, it will be hard for him to win much more Grand Slams in his career. Sinner can't just count on Alcaraz being eliminated earlier. It's not a big rivalry for now, but Alcaraz's monologue: 5 recent wins in a row, including 2 in Paris. And what's worse, it won't be easier for Sinner on other surfaces and today's big defeat could break him mentally for many months
  6. I think the last independent president in Poland was Aleksander Kwasniewski, if I remember good? And that was in the early 21st century?
  7. The two main parties in Poland: PO and PiS, which have dominated the political scene for 20 years, are so at odds with each other and bothing cohabitation between them isn`t possible. This conflict is`t results from the personal history of their leaders and is impossible to resolve now and on the future, until these two leaders leave politics due to old age. The only option is one of them to govern alone (prime minister and president from one of this parties) or a completely independent president to be elected from outside these two political camps, which has never happened since 2005.
  8. Becouse in Italy, Germany etc there is a parlamentary system when prime minister govern. In Poland there is a mixed system and the actually polarization is so great that a president from another camp will block everything so that the government falls due to this, the country will be paralyzed for 2 years. Such a system would be good in a country and at a time when there is a responsible political class that can reach an agreement on key issues.
  10. The small Olympic sports will die without public support and the wild liberalism of the early 90s, represented by Tacher, didn`t want to finance such a thing on principle. In such a model, only football, rugby, tennis would survive? What else? Maybe some individual stars from other disciplines? However, it must said that football in England is great now and they have made the best product in the world with the Premier League. 30 years ago, the best product was Serie A, but unfortunately we have stopped developing. Just look at the stadiums in England and in Italy...
  12. From the point of view of money for sports in the UK, was Tacher's government weak? The mid-90s XX century were the time of decline of Olympic sports in the UK + hooligans at football stadiums, do I remember correctly?
  14. From what I see, this coalition is too diverse to be able to govern effectively (center-right to left). In Italy there is a coalition of 3 parties, but it`s center-right without the left. In addition, Poland has a strange political system with a president elected by the people, who can block the government if he comes from a different political camp. I think that you could change this and switch to a parliamentary system or possibly a presidential (personally I prefer this 1).
  15. The Americans themselves wanted, so they chose such a clown, who 20 years ago could, at best, clown on TV shows or advertise McDonald's On the other hand, the alternative was also terrible: grandpa Biden and hopeless Harris. And Putin only rubs his hands as he looks at it.
  17. This new President is a pro- Russian?
  18. In the UK, Farage is actually leading in the polls now? All we need is AFD in Germany, Le Pen in France and we have the whole package Europe is falling apart before our eyes and it's terribly sad. After 2000, it's a fall in every possible aspect and that's where all the extreme forces that are coming to power in other countries + Trump to complete the package.
  19. Radoslaw Sikorski would have a better chance of winning?
  20. Does the sports minister have any significance? In Italy, the prime minister was once a great sports fan - Berlusconi for a many years and that was when the biggest cuts in sports funding took place. Slovakia won against Slovenia and it`s already certain to stay in the Elite. The only thing that surprise for me is Austria's great progress in recent years - not long ago it was a level slightly better than Italy...
  21. For me it was a foul on the goalie. Recently a similar goal was cancelled for Ukraine in a match with Italy in a lower division.
  22. I have no idea. I guess we'll find out soon enough.
  23. They also played very well against UK and could have won for 3 points. Japan is always a difficult opponent at this level, i.e. not the highest, because of course Slovakia would beat them playing at 50%.
