  1. Has Kasia Wasick managed to get an OQT during the window stablished by the Polish Federation?
  2. Hey, by any chance have you done an update after the Chinese Nationals, plese?
  3. The same happened to Brazil, with their internal criteria. One journalist said that in order to have bigger storage room, the Brazilian sailing federation decided to forget their own rules and take all boats.
  4. The developing nation is specific to countries that did not participated in that class in the last two editions. I agree with you that is a bit odd - at least in name. This is the full list I like the idea, but perhaps should be give to countries without representation AT ALL?
  5. Well, they have a clear qualification rules, although one can oppose to it...
  6. I understood now. First of all, Australia rejected its quota on the Oceania championhsips. Then the quotas went to the Developing Nations Program, not the Emerging Nations Program....
  7. I wonder if there will be more races apart from medal race? If so, we could see changes
  8. https://sof.regatta.ffvoile.fr/en/default/races/race-resultsall on this table every contender for ENP is clearly signed. There are no ENP quotas on 49er and 49er FX...
  9. They got Estonia right (now i realize), but this means 8 quotas???
  10. Apparently Austria and Switzerland got quotas on women's (don't ask me why) and Finland and Slovakia got on men https://www.sailing.org/2024/04/25/czech-1-2-seals-nations-olympic-spot-in-windsurfing/
  11. Don't forget your jinx against Camargo in the fencing OQC!
  12. I don't understand how the relay event will happen only 1h50 after the men's.
  13. great to know that rules are meant to be broken
  14. I'm pretty sure Casper Puggaard is not elegible for the Universality quota as he was not on the Danish rooster for the 23 or 24 WC. Only Liggjas JOENSEN participated (representing Faroe Islands). From the OQD I would assume they would select the Universality before the OCT, but one never knows.
  15. Just being a bit of douchebag and saying I got it right here
  16. I used to have a list, but many athletes are doubled as they have many A standards. Next time I update it will try to bring it here.
  17. Is there any mathematical chance that other countries get the quota?
  18. Now the only thing France still needs to decide is the venue
  19. After all that bad press predicting disaster at Rio, it will be a bit curious if something like this happens in Paris. I wonder if they would not do something to get a good water result in the previous days and go forward.
  20. My understanding is that he can only play XD, but if he qualifies in single as well, he can compete in singles AND his "double quota" gets reallocated to another single player so that TT can fill their number of quotas.
  21. Only James Guy booked a ticket tonight, so we have 19 guaranteed athletes. Luke Greenbank is also now on priority 5 with his 200m Backstroke. Let's say those 4 will be included and we would have a team of 23 (except Tobias Robinson). They could easily say "we're done" but it would be a bit odd I guess. I still believe they will take both relays, or at least ask them to do a tryout. If they decide to take 30, those are my bet for the 7 extra, kind-of-on-order I think there are 4 safer bets because either they won their races, or they would form relays Kieran Bird - M 400m Freestyle (OQT), not only he has an OQT and won the event, he could be a relay option, with his 6th on 4x200m Freestyle Angharad Evans W 100m Breaststroke (OQT), not only she won but she could form the 4x100m medley Eva Okaro - W 4x100m Freestyle (2nd- relay not qualified) Freya Anderson - W 4x100m Freestyle (3rd- relay not qualified) she could easily compete at W 100m Freestyle, W 200m Freestyle and she was injured Then I guess they could take these 3 to be options for relays, and 2 of them are big names James Wilby - M 100m Breaststroke (he could even participate in the individual with his OQT and would be a back-up for 4x100m medley) Jacob Whittle - M 4x100m 5th Swimmer? Jack McMillan - M 400m Freestyle (OQT), and he also would be a great option to swim in the heats for 4x200m Freestyle
  22. Pepsi Florida Relays- Gainesville, FL, USA March 30, 2024 Full Results Men’s 100m Favour Oghene Tejiri ASHE
  23. Do you think is there any chance they will forfait their medley or freestyle quota?
  24. tbf it would probably not have made any difference... USA would still be behind Venezuela (by far) and as Venezuela was not top4 they would not get the quota.
  25. I just rewatched the point and it was totally absurd. Not speaking as a Brazilian, but as someone with a bit of knowledge on fencing. Several mistakes here (Zhang's knee in front of the foot, very poorly executed flèche... and he not only falls during the touch, but his back feet also lands first, so he does not reverse correctly...) He could even get a 2nd yellow card for that which would give the point to Camargo. I think it is impossible for Zhang to lose its quota, but hopefully FIE would acknowledge the referee mistake, the same way they did with Kharlan at WC last year and guarantee Camargo an extra quota.
