  1. Hey everyone, I'm doing a major check on all lists. At first I compared my own tables to all names mentioned here. Now I'm on the Road to Paris, and I will include here the "missing" quotas I find there. Some are old and either they were not added here or I missed them, sorry if I ended up double-posting them As I'm going through them through each discipline and not competition, I thought it was easier to post like that. If anyone has any tip on how to better format the posts, please let me know Women's 100m- OK Women's 200m JaMeesia FORD - Clemson Tiger Paw Invitational - Clemson, USA (2024 Feb 10) Jadyn MAYS - NCAA Division I Indoor Championships - Boston, USA (2024 Mar 08) Rosey EFFIONG - SEC Indoor Championships - Fayetteville, USA (2024 Feb 24) Kaila JACKSON - NCAA Division I Indoor Championships - Boston, USA (2024 Mar 08) Women's 400m Kemi ADEKOYA- 2022 Asian Games - Hangzhou, CHN (2023 Sep 29) Salwa Eid NASER- 2022 Asian Games - Hangzhou, CHN (2023 Sep 30) Amber ANNING - SEC Indoor Championships - Fayetteville, USA (2024 Feb 24) Femke BOL - Indoor World Championships - Glasgow, Scotland, UK (2024 Mar 02) Jermaisha ARNOLD - NACAC U23 Championships - San José, Costa Rica (2023 Jul 22) Christine MALLARD - USA U20 Championships - Eugene, USA (2023 Jul 09) Kaylyn BROWN - SEC Indoor Championships - Fayetteville, USA (2024 Feb 24) Ziyah HOLMAN - NACAC U23 Championships - San José, Costa Rica (2023 Jul 22)
  2. Reuters asked that and ITF said yes, but I haven't found anything official on that
  3. thanks!! Saw it on reuters as well. It makes sense considering tennis.
  4. Where you saw this decision regarding doubles and mixed? I could only find this note which basically says the same thing we all know.
  5. hahahaha i'm still not sure if double counts as a team to add to the mix
  6. Was this the first time a Refugee Athlete won a competitive quota?
  7. It's the same issue on tennis. Will athletes from Russia and Belarus qualify differently or their "joint" team will have 4 female and 4 male quotas on individual? And... will they be able to form a pair to doubles? and if so... could they form a Russian/Belarussian pair?
  8. I had a stupid question on reallocation but as soon as I posted i realized hahaha anyway... was checking the results of WC23 and if no Frenchmen gets the quota it will go to Leo SALADINO, right?
  9. Could anyone please help me understanding how the tie-break works? Here is the document For the 1st case... would we consider the ranks only with eligible athletes or overall rankings?
  10. Since Indonesia won a quota on mixed doubles at the Asian championships, shouldn't one of the men's quotas from the 2023 WC be reallocated to Steve Wijer from his 6th place? I thought mixed doubles had priority over individual?
  11. I thought that China could not get a quota from the rankings if they declined one from the championships, but form the document it seems to be in order. WANG Chuqin/SUN Yingsha will cruise by to a quota. Could Wang win 3 gold medals? When is the Chinese nationals btw?
  12. I have no idea on why i thought New Zealand had a K1 quota!
  13. No, Australia always had 6 quotas. It's the limit per country in kayak.
  14. I would assume that NO, because then they would be under the continental rule. But obviously they will interpret the way the prefer.
  15. I come to this because I still don't fully understood what happened here Either they already knew there would be no tripartite athletes on those weights or they hadn't read it properly their own documents and invited the NOCs... or they had already selected the 4 tripartite athletes and decided that's that, no more quotas to Universality.
  16. Now all tha fun of digging into Federation's twitter, going through google translate and refreshing this page ad eternum is over! So sad that the bouts will be live streaming from tomorrow....
  17. Why can't the federations just post the score?
  18. And now New Zealand will probably forfait a quota on K1, right? And then it would go to South Africa if i'm not mistaken (unless if Esti Olivier was on the K2 boat that got the quota at the African qualifier)... then it would go to Italy
  19. There is a priority but I can not find here which is which. Does someone have access to this document? thanks! Edit: just found it
  20. Men's 71kg- Wanderson de Oliveira 5x0 Wendel Stanley Difficult bout against Walsh now, probably the most important one from that quarter.
  21. Men's 57Kg: Luiz Oliveira def Munarbek Seiitbek 4x1
  22. It would be a shame as they never had a swimmer. Is this official already?
  23. In the official document the wording is more clear but not enough I think it is something similar to the tennis rule that have different rules to younger/older than 30: In this case... I think the rule only applies if the athlete is younger than 30. if the athlete is over 30 he/she can go. But if he/she is younger, can not go to a third Olympic. I guess the idea behind is: if the athlete is older, it gets an "extra" Olympic to go to. Not sure if it's the best or if it's what the document says. what do you think @JoshMartini007 @OlympicIRL @Josh?
  24. Not sure if this would be thread or the Swimming 2024, but... I was curious and took the 2 best times from american swimmers between march 2023-24 to check what would be the US swimming "selection". It would have 20 male athletes, 18 female athletes, plus 3 men and 2 women to fill the top6 in 4x100m and 4x200m. The 12th relay only quota would go (in my mind obviously) to Simone Manuel, 7th from 4x100m. Do you think the official selection will be very different from this one? Can Dressel comeback in time?
