  1. It doesn't need to be about giving back, but to recognize it. And specially in regards to New Caledonia, Tahiti and other French forces: how can one expect that a person born in France, tied to France and to a French company, working and living in the island for a few years, hoping to come back to France later, could have a fair saying on the future of the island? And yeah, @De_GambassiBrazil does a horrible job regarding that. I think it's naive to think Israel is not attacking Palestine for decades, so for...
  2. They are minorities, because France politics sent a lot of French people there to settle and occupy, it makes total sense that the occupying forces are majority.
  3. Thanks!!! Any chance Joshua Gammon will be selected? And for the Israelis, they will make the cut, right?
  4. I read it, but this seemed a bit like a piece sent by someone to Inside the games to promete the athlete in question.
  5. Any way to watch the African qualifier, please?
  6. Today the (second-to-)last quota was decided Tahani ALQAHTANI made a trip to Lima, but she lost the only match (2 judoka draw), apparently by shidos, and have not earned any points. So... Manita Shrestha Pradhan gets the second-to-last continental quota. She was supposed to go to Lima as well, but withdrew. Now, Kiribati will decide the last one. Also in Lima, Saito won (against 2 Peruvians and one of them again in the final) and got back the #6, forcing Riner to fight Tasoev in QF
  7. So far, Paris 2024 has 150 more men than women qualified. Without equestrian entry lists, this may grow or reduce... One way out would be to invite more female swimmers with OCT. that would be great!

  9. Not even who won medals etc? that's so weird.
  10. Also can't find any results regarding Matteo Pellicone, do you guys know where can we find them? https://uww.org/event/sassari-city-matteo-pellicone-memorial-9/news
  11. I think whoever updates wikipedia page on wrestling is totally out of its place imagining reallocations. On 57kg men freestyle: AIN got a quota at world championships. IOC has not invited the athlete who won the quota (Zaur Uguev) but Nachin Mongush. We all know this is super common in wrestling. But on wiki, the AIN quota was reallocated (!) and AIN appears as an "additional place", apparently out of nowhere.
  12. IS there any chance that US will take more women (who finished 7th for instance at the relays) now that they have the space? And if my count is correct, only 10 relay only athletes so far.
  13. Yesterday I watched here just after the swimming trials https://thetvapp.to/tv/wnbc-new-york-nbc-east-live-stream/
  14. I always cheer for specially after meeting some of the delegation at Rio 2016. They even game me a small flag

  16. Oceane CARNEZ Mélanie HENIQUE Damien JOLY Lison NOWACZYK Lilou RESSENCOURT Clément SECCHI Which events will those compete, do you know?
  17. Men's Park USA- TBD (4 quotas between Tate CAREW, Jagger EATON, Gavin BOTTGER and Tom SCHAAR - he needs to go to the final to have any chance at all) USA- TBD USA- TBD AUS- Keegan PALMER AUS- Kieran WOOLLEY AUS- Keefer WILSON BRA- Augusto AKIO BRA-Luigi CINI BRA-Pedro BARROS ESP- Daniel LEON ESP- Alain KORTABITARTE ITA- Alessandro SORGENTE ITA- Alessandro MAZZARA SWE- Hampus WINBERG DEN- Viktor SOLMUNDE PUR- Steven PINEIRO JPN- NAGAHARA Yuro FRA- Vincent MATHERON POR- Thomas AUGUSTO GER- Tyler EDTMAYER GBR- Andrew MACDONALD RSA- Dallas OBERHOLZER (continental quota) In a unexpected twist of events, Thomas Augusto and Andrew MacDonald - at 50yo - had stellar performances - and moved out of quotas Peio GONZALEZ (ESP) and Elias NILSEN (NOR). So far with ESP Daniela TEROL but a top14 can give to THA Vareeraya SUKASEM and alternates 1- BEL Lore BRUGGEMAN 2- FRA Charlotte HYM 3- FRA Jérômine LOUVET
  19. Amazing run by Thomas Augusto, grabbing himself an Olympic quota, most probably at the expense of Elias NILSEN
  20. Has ISSF removed that tracker with all names and pictures of qualified athletes? so sad, it was so good

  23. We will have no Universality quotas in skateboarding, they need to be in a qualification spot for the OQS in order to be eligible. All the 22 quotas were listed already, so ZHENG Haohao and Julia BENEDETTI got the HN and U reallocation quotas
  24. Curiously USA will only go with 11 tennis players. Not sure why not Caroline Dolehide in doubles. https://www.usta.com/en/home/pro/pro-media---news/gauff--fritz-leads-six-first-time-olympians-among-11-u-s--select.html
