I hope you've calmed down after your little rant. I never even mentioned GB but clearly you've got a massive chip on your shoulder. Nor did I say the competition wouldn't he weaker without the Russians competing. All I was arguing with good justification is that the Russians are not as strong as you imply and that all you've offered up to support your argument is a group of aging divers at least some of whom may not even be competing anymore. The current war would not necessarily have anything to do with that since the wear and tear of diving, particularly in the platform events, means that most don't compete beyond thirty. At best they would likely be on a downward curve and unlikely medallists at this level.

I mean I didn't respond because I see no point. For example, calling Coach K, one of the most succesfull coaches in NCAA history as "some college coach" is just silly and shows the lack of knowledge. And Coach K was long gone at World Cup 2019, Popovich was the coach then. And Kerr was his main assistent. 
 
Besides that, you are making my point literally by saying what players that team had. You can't say that this team on paper is better than that team and then making an argument how good was that team and blame it on coach 
 
As for Canada and US comparison, I would be perfectly fine with Powell/Olynik combo. But, since there's no point in talking before competition, let's wait and see what this American team can do in the actual competition. Then, we should talk. 

Your reply made me curious, so I decided to search "her" name on Google. IPC allowing a male athlete to compete in female events is absolutely unbelievable    
 
Yeah, that's a plus  hopefully those articles will inspire some readers to actually watch para-athletics, it's surprisingly fun to watch (First time I watched it was during Rio 2016, and got hooked within two minutes), and learning all the different classifications and the stories, it's really inspiring. But most people don't care about disabled sport, so obviously there'll be a lack of interest. 

Canada won't medal, but they certainly aren't a "weak country" in women's water polo.

Having a name ending with "ia" doesn't make it automaticaly italian...

Meeting isnt over yet, so, it will be better to wait with that post. Plus it should be Chorzów, Silesia, Poland  not Italy...

I’d drop both the 800m and 1500m events from the pool, introduce a 1000m race, and leave the open water event alone.
