  1. Hoping for 2-0 or better I actually quite like this Argentinian team (huge Messi fan), even if we lose 4-0 I wouldn’t be mad
  2. All matches will be live streamed on the Pan Am Sports Channel app!

  4. Fay Ebert has qualified for the Olympics in women’s park skateboarding! At 14, she’ll be the youngest member of Team Canada.
  5. Rowing team named! https://olympic.ca/2024/06/20/team-canada-rowers-chase-history-on-the-water-at-paris-2024/
  6. Hopefully peaked too early (I want Barshim to win gold)
  7. Karalis NR in men’s pole vault!! 5.92m!! @Makedonas @Ted @maestro
  8. Is it streaming live on your TV? I know the Euros are available for me. Maybe if so, you can record it and watch some (or all) of it in the morning, without all the annoying ads?
  9. Cordano Russell and Micky Papa are through to the semifinals in 2nd and 11th. Matt Berger finishes in 17th, one spot shy of joining them, and Ryan Decenzo finishes in 31st (very disappointing) Decenzo is now on 96,055 points, while Berger is now on 104,188 points. At worst, Cordano Russell will be on 111,430 and Micky Papa 58,911 points. Berger and Russell have mathematically qualified for the Olympics. Papa needs to finish 9th* or better to book his ticket to Paris, otherwise Decenzo qualifies.
  10. 90.14 for Cordano Russell in men’s street prelims!
  11. 15th for Alannah Yip in the boulder part of the women’s combined qualifications. Will almost certainly need a top 8 finish, with her only managing 1 point in Shanghai, so it’s unlikely but you never know. Oscar Bautrand will probably need the same, with his 5 points. He tied for 20th in the boulder part of the men’s combined qualifications. Unfortunately, our athlete with the most points, Sean McColl, was 45th.
  12. Vincent Fauche (3x3 basketball) https://www.instagram.com/p/C8aBm2JokNB/?igsh=bG4wZjBzdnpsZnoz @Benolympique
  13. Canada defeat Germany in straight sets in match 9 of Men’s VNL, to improve to 6-4! Germany was playing without Grozer and Krick, so this was to be expected. Slight blip 18-10 up (Germany clawed back to 21-19), but in the end we got it done. Back to #9 in the World Rankings!
  14. sweep To all of the German users on here, why were Krick and Grozer not playing?
  15. Anyone know where the NORCECA Olympic Qualifier will be streamed? Can’t seem to find anything.
  16. I’ll also add that the 14 medals you’re predicting is the same amount of medals that Great Britain has won in swimming at the last TWO (non bathtub ) World Championships. They’ve only won 3 golds in that time frame. Mind you Peaty wasn’t at either of them, but you get my point.
  17. When did I say that? Also, in most of those events, there’s many contenders and Great Britain is far from a lock. You’re essentially pretty much every single British medal chance (and some outside ones too). Judging from recent World Championships and the British Olympic Trials, I could see them winning up to 4 golds, and that’s being generous. 2-3 seems much more likely. If I’d had to guess, Peaty in the 100m breaststroke, men’s 4x200m freestyle relay, and potentially the men’s 50m freestyle. United States is way ahead of the field in the men’s 4x100m medley relay (Dressel, Alexy, Fink, Murphy probably), and China and United States are likely to battle it out in the mixed 4x100m medley relay.
  18. Yup I watched it First time seeing Komenda in action
  19. Sorry but there’s absolutely no chance, and even if it were to happen, you wouldn’t be 3rd in the swimming medal table.
  20. Cameron Brink (3x3 basketball) Was selected to the US squad for the Olympics, but tore her ACL during yesterday’s Sparks game (she’s also a WNBA player) https://www.instagram.com/p/C8aFCfcShQl/?igsh=ZGJwa3Vid3hoY2V4
