Takeshi Kawamoto - 51.59 Matsumoto goes under 51 seconds to qualify for his 2nd individual event. 2022 World Championship silver medallist Mizunuma also manages to qualify. Sam Schachter/Dan Dearing bow out in the quarterfinals, getting demolished by a Cuban team that I thought they had a solid chance at defeating. Both finishes should be good enough to add useful points towards their Olympic Ranking. For Dearing/Schachter it’s a 5th useable finish, while for Bansley/Bukovec it’s a 2nd.
