I'm still quite uncertain when did the rules change, because Moon had a failure at a higher jump than Kennedy and not at the same height. I remember they used to differentiate between such scores. Ya, if we are going to essentially do away with the jump-off then the countback should revert back to the old rule where ties were less common.
