  1. 10% of the votes counted, Bolso leads 52-48.
  2. BB has been a curse for many teams here, only and didn't struggle.
  3. Rebeca Andrade does a Biles changing her vault midway and out of finals. Well, at least she'll have AA, FX and UB finals. Brazil ends in 2nd ahead of Japan.
  4. did kinda bad in BB (no final for Saraiva), but quite good in FX (currently 1-2 for Saraiva and Andrade). Let's see the other apparatus.
  5. We use a voting machine. It's very quick (today I took only 20 seconds to vote because we also have a runoff for state governor) and results start to be released immediately after the polls close. In about 4 hours we will know the next president of Brazil.
  6. For those who are interested, some results from other countries have already been leaked (not official, but pretty accurate). Of course most countries don't even have a thousand votes, but it's interesting that Bolso lost in some countries where he won in 2018. Biggest margins are in Japan (84%) for Bolso and France/Germany (~80%) for Lula. Bolsonaro: Lula:
  7. If Lula wins today it will be by a very narrow margin. The federal police did 500+ operations today suppressing voters, especially those in public transportations in Northeast (region with most Lula voters). Apparently they're stopping now but we are less than 2 hours away from closing the polls. For a man who defends "liberty", Bolso certainly is looking more and more like a dictator...
  8. This the worse number in 20 years, and 10mi entered this status since the start of his government + no real adjustment of minimum wage in 4 years. I could list a lot of reasons why he is a terrible president, but economy is front and center.
  9. There are 33mi people below the line of poverty in Brazil, that alone should tell you for who our economy is working...
  10. Sure, but the new code of points have reduced the difficult scores in all apparatus, so that's actually a very good result for them. While all these teams could achieve a score close to this (+ Brazil), i'll still be shocked if they lose gold this time around, especially without Russia.
  11. women's team did pretty great as expected. Should be in all finals.
  12. lol Are we really comparing Lula to Bolsonaro, possibly the worst human being alive? I would vote for a dog over Bolso
  13. I'm down to 14 songs, it's very hard to decide the last spots. I'll send my votes in the next hours.
  14. Só eu tô iludido com esse time feminino da ginástica? Prevendo ao menos 2 medalhas para elas...
  15. With the strategy of sending the best athletes in many individual sports and not caring about team sports (except those wich gave quotas to Pan American Games), I fully expected Brazil to return to first place.
  16. Voted for Rio, the only one I've attended But I have good memories from Athens and Beijing, the first Games where I followed all days.
  17. It was kinda unnecessary for Brazil to send the best swimmers, we would get first place at the medal table either way. Also unecessary to send Isaquias Queiroz without training only to get a bronze medal. Some questionable decisions from our commitee here, but in the end I hope we can improve a little our results at the Pan Ams compared to 2019.
  18. Brazil can't win gold, it was 0-3 the last three important finals. I guess we already know the color of the medal for the next Olympics...

  20. For all the great organization and venues here, I must say that the Athletics "stadium" is a little disappointing.
  21. That's great. I don't think Brazilian medalists will earn any money from this.
  22. Brazil is one match away to be world champion for the first time... or to get a third consecutive silver medal in world competitions (after the Olympics and VNL).
  23. Brazil had to change the entire team (almost, as Gabi was never replaced?) after the second set. Thankfully, the players were ready even though some of them barely played at this championship. We should have an european final but who knows...
