    The men's beach volleyball green uniform is hideous, definitely the worst (not that the others are much better).

Tomorrow the last day with some big finals (including Men's 50m Freestyle).

    Maria Lenk Trophy (Brazilian trials) - Day 4 Men's 100m Freestyle - Marcelo Chierighini (48.20) and Nicolas Oliveira (48.30) Men's 200m Breaststroke - Tales Cerdeira (2:10.99) and Thiago Simon (2:11.29) No athletes achieved the standard in Women's 200m Butterfly. Our Men's 4x100 Freestyle Relay will be completed by João de Lucca and Matheus Santana.

    Unfortunately the only stream I could find was that one from USA Gymnastics. Romania will have only one female gymnast at the Olympics (most likely Iordache). Apparently Jurca didn't participate here because she was injured.

    To be eligible for the quota, Morandi would have to end the competition ahead of the last qualified gymnast, which he didn't manage to do. Therefore the quota goes to Edalli.

    Unless her Floor is a disaster, I think she's pretty much safe.

    With Vault to come, Chusovitina is looking good for a ticket now.

    Brazil with a huge 59.040 on Vault, improving over last year's 58.132. We need 47.483 on Bars to surpass Australia - last year we did 51.966 and that was our worst apparatus by far. Switzerland with 53.532 on the Bars, a lot better than last year's 50.065. They need a 54358 on BB to surpass Australia (difficult but not impossible).

    Brazil with 55.374 on FX, less that last year's 55.631. Switzerland with 56.498 on Vault, less than last year's 56.765.

    Brazil with 56.531 on balance beam, improving over the already great 56.132 on last year's Worlds. This is one of our best apparatus, let's hope we can keep the good work. Switzerland with 54.040 on FX compared to last year's 53.699.

    Romania will qualify only if two of these four teams have huge meltdowns. Australia has a chance, though.

    If everything goes as planned, Belgium, Brazil, France and Germany should qualify.
