  1. I think Cesar Cielo (Swimming) fits the criteria.
  2. Brazil's Team, as announced by CBDA here. Men (20) Bruno Fratus (50m Freestyle) Ítalo Duarte (50m Freestyle) Marcelo Chierighini (100m Freestyle / 4x100m Freestyle Relay / 4x100m Medley Relay*) Nicolas Oliveira (100m Freestyle / 200m Freestyle / 4x100m Freestyle Relay) João de Lucca (200m Freestyle / 4x100m Freestyle Relay) Matheus Santana (4x100m Freestyle) Luiz Altamir Melo (400m Freestyle) Miguel Valente (1500m Freestyle) Brandonn Almeida (1500m Freestyle / 400m Individual Medley) João Gomes Jr (100m Breaststroke / 4x100m Medley Relay*) Felipe França (100m Breaststroke) Tales Cerdeira (200m Breaststroke) Thiago Simon (200m Breaststroke) Guilherme Guido (100m Backstroke / 4x100m Medley Relay) Leonardo de Deus (200m Backstroke / 200m Butterfly) Kaio Márcio Almeida (200m Butterfly) Henrique Martins (100m Butterfly / 4x100m Medley Relay*) Marcos Macedo (100m Butterfly) Henrique Rodrigues (200m Individual Medley) Thiago Pereira (200m Individual Medley) Women (9) Etiene Medeiros (50m Freestyle / 100m Freestyle / 100m Backstroke / 4x100m Freestyle Relay) Graciele Herrmann (50m Freestyle) Larissa Oliveira (100m Freestyle / 200m Freestyle / 4x100m Freestyle Relay / 4x200m Freestyle Relay) Manuella Lyrio (200m Freestyle / 4x100m Freestyle Relay / 4x200m Freestyle Relay) Jessica Bruin (4x200m Freestyle Relay) Gabrielle Roncatto (4x200m Freestyle Relay) Daiene Dias (100m Butterfly) Daynara de Paula (100m Butterfly / 4x100m Freestyle Relay) Joanna Maranhão (200m Individual Medley / 400m Individual Medley) This does not count the 3 athletes qualified for Open Water. If we confirm our quotas for Men's 4x200m Freestyle Relay and Women's 4x100m Medley Relay, the number of athletes might rise. Athletes marked with "*" are not 100% guaranteed in the Medley Relay, since 2 athletes have qualified for each individual event and the selection for the Relay will be determined by their performance on those.
  3. Maria Lenk Trophy (Brazilian trials) - Day 6 Men's 50m Freestyle - Bruno Fratus (21.50) and Ítalo Duarte (21.82) Men's 100m Butterfly - Henrique Martins (52.14) and Marcos Macedo (52.17) Men's 1500m Freestyle - Miguel Valente (15:14.40) and Brandonn Almeida (15:14.58) Women's 50m Freestyle - Etiene Medeiros (24.64) and Graciele Herrmann (24.92) No athletes qualified in Women's 200m Backstroke and Women's 800m Freestyle. 29 qualified athletes, possibly a little more if we confirm our quota in the two remaining relays. Brazil will have an athlete in all Men's events, but as usual our Women's side isn't very strong.
  4. It was something a little expected, to be honest. Since last year he wasn't able to achieve a time under 22. Today he achieved 21.91, but still not able to surpass Fratus and Ítalo (the two qualifiers since last year Open).
  5. I'm gonna wait all events to post the results of brazilian trials today, but Cesar Cielo didn't achieve one of the best two times in 50m Freestyle and is out of the Olympics.
  6. The men's beach volleyball green uniform is hideous, definitely the worst (not that the others are much better).
  7. Maria Lenk Trophy (Brazilian trials) - Day 5 Men's 200m Backstroke - Leonardo de Deus (1:57.43) Men's 200m Individual Medley - Henrique Rodrigues (1:57.91) and Thiago Pereira (1:57.91) Women's 100m Freestyle - Larissa Oliveira (54.03) and Etiene Medeiros (54.26) Nobody qualified for Women's 200m Breaststroke. Tomorrow the last day with some big finals (including Men's 50m Freestyle).
  8. Maria Lenk Trophy (Brazilian trials) - Day 4 Men's 100m Freestyle - Marcelo Chierighini (48.20) and Nicolas Oliveira (48.30) Men's 200m Breaststroke - Tales Cerdeira (2:10.99) and Thiago Simon (2:11.29) No athletes achieved the standard in Women's 200m Butterfly. Our Men's 4x100 Freestyle Relay will be completed by João de Lucca and Matheus Santana.
  9. Unfortunately the only stream I could find was that one from USA Gymnastics. Romania will have only one female gymnast at the Olympics (most likely Iordache). Apparently Jurca didn't participate here because she was injured.
  10. Ponor won't compete in finals today
  11. To be eligible for the quota, Morandi would have to end the competition ahead of the last qualified gymnast, which he didn't manage to do. Therefore the quota goes to Edalli.
  12. I guess, but will they accept this quota?
  13. Maria Lenk Trophy (Brazilian trials) - Day 3 Men's 200m Butterfly - Leonardo de Deus (1:55.54) and Kaio Márcio (1:56.21) Women's 200m Freestyle - Larissa Oliveira (1:57.27) and Manuella Lyrio (1:58.43) Women's 200m Individual Medley - Joanna Maranhão (2:14.04) Good day with athletes qualified in all events.
  14. @InfostradaGold "Looks like Romania won't have a women's artistic gymnastics team @ #Rio2016 Romania's women's team has won a medal at the last TEN Olympics"
  15. @LaurenCHopkins "Swiss coach forgot the lineup on floor so they missed a score which would have bumped them ahead of AUS. ROUGH." Is this serious?
  16. Current scores so far: 226.477 218.428 218.336 216.569
  17. Unless her Floor is a disaster, I think she's pretty much safe.
  18. With Vault to come, Chusovitina is looking good for a ticket now.
  19. Brazil with a huge 59.040 on Vault, improving over last year's 58.132. We need 47.483 on Bars to surpass Australia - last year we did 51.966 and that was our worst apparatus by far. Switzerland with 53.532 on the Bars, a lot better than last year's 50.065. They need a 54358 on BB to surpass Australia (difficult but not impossible).
  20. Between rotations the page goes down, just keep updating the page.
  21. Brazil with 55.374 on FX, less that last year's 55.631. Switzerland with 56.498 on Vault, less than last year's 56.765.
  22. Brazil with 56.531 on balance beam, improving over the already great 56.132 on last year's Worlds. This is one of our best apparatus, let's hope we can keep the good work. Switzerland with 54.040 on FX compared to last year's 53.699.
