    Seeing the pics of Anna last month, it’s obvious she’s never going to come back from that fall. It was so sad to see her like that.

    Oehling Norberg already out I really hoped he could take the medal for Anna and for that bad luck he had in Sochi. At least he’s still a World Champion but it’s just disappointing.

    8th group is really tough in the ski cross 1/8 final!

    I don’t know, other than Paris maybe sneaking a medal in DH? Brignone is still a huge favorite for combined medal tomorrow, but she looked in pain after that fall today, same as Gisin, so not sure what to expect. Gross and Moellg realistically have no chance for a medal considering their recent form, but it’s just one race so one of them could sneak on the podium if other favorites make mistakes.

    How is Italy overperforming if I may ask? At least in alpine skiing, Goggia was a favorite for 1st or 2nd place and Brignone was one of the contenders for the medal. Even Dominik’s 4th place is not a surprise.

    Ragnhild had to ruin my perfect podium. I like her just fine, but she already has a silver medal as a surprise and Norway has plenty of medals, while Lichtenstein only depends on Tina.

    Weirather skipped the downhill training, I hope she’s okay. Shame Mikaela is not racing tomorrow, she could have done a great result in my opinion.

    Well he missed one and even if he didn’t, he wouldn’t be on the podium.

    Don’t count on it considering how slow he is on the track.

    I went to bed after the first run and although I managed to wake up, I gave myself 5 more minutes in bed and fell asleep After rewatching the event, no surprise on the podium, would have loved to see Kranjec on the podium (and Hirscher off it), but still what a great result for him. Hirscher winning was never in doubt and if Kristoffersen doesn’t magically bring back his early-2016 for slalom form, no one’s going to be close to him again.

    De Aliprandini is reportedly okay, just took a big hit nothing else.

    It’s really a shame that no one had a perfect run, especially since this are the Olympics, and Ledecka mostly won due to Gut, Weirather, Goggia and Vonn all had 3 fast sections and 1 slow/erratic section. But it is what it is, at the end she was the fastest and deserves this for the best overall race, even though even she claims it was “lucky”.

    You just know she’ll still be able to crawl back somehow. I hoped Kuzmina would employ the tactic of a fast first lap, now the girls that chose to follow her, already kind of went over their limit.

    At least Bjoergen is retiring soon and CC skiing will be better again.

    Considering how she was acting when at 2nd and 3rd place, I don’t think she can be even more disappointed.

    Heartbreaking, especially since she was so close to a medal, which would at least kinda save the situation. But honestly, she looked like a shadow of herself today, not attacking the course in either run (except maybe the bottom part of the 2nd), so I presume she has not much energy. Hopefully she doesn’t start in Super-G tomorrow and rests for the DH
