Can’t wait for men’s snowboard parallel GS, I could see at least 19 of them winning a medal, but only 16 can qualify to the elimination runs, so it will be interesting from the start. Women’s side has about 6 favorites, but really anything can happen if Ledecka and Dujmovits make any mistakes.

Ugh what a crap event for Sweden. Canada must feel bitter-sweet though, not sure what they needed to do 1/8 finals anyway and not just carry 16 skiers into the final like in WC, Marielle and Sherret were out early because of that and two mediocre skiers prevailed. But I can’t believe how unlucky Sandra was, she was closed by Phelan and Smith and therefore lost speed that she couldn’t regain because she’s not the tallest skier. Canada somehow taking the gold medals when they were never close to wins in WC, couple of podiums, but Naeslund and Zacher were always far ahead.

Not sure, to me it seems she’s just not agressive enough and her skis didn’t flow as well as they did this season. She’s probably still tired from everything in this season.

At least Mikaela has a medal I’m happy with that, but she really should have went home with 3 medals this years, regardless of the color.
