  1. Belgium needs a 5th position to gain points (if they compete in Milton), France needs a 4th position. Nope, Australia is quite comfortable, if my calculations are alright (which I doubt) : NED : 8550 FRA : 7192,5 GB : 6907,5 NZ : 6675 AUS : 6457,5 GER : 6382,5 JPN : 6375 8. POL : 6135 9. RUS : 6135
  2. I can understand how the men won in Colomiers, but the women ... I can't see them as a serious contender (maybe I'm blinded as a Frenchman), they're even struggling to get to the quarter-finals. Their level in 2015-2016 was way better than what it is now
  3. Two semis and a great 3rd place for us We're really getting consistent, such a shame this OQT went the wrong direction ... South Africa and NZ dominating this season openers, with a thriller of a final, SA again defeated in Cape Town
  4. Folau Niua is the real playmaker and he's injured, don't know when he's coming back. Pinkelman and Iosefo were at the 15's WC, i reckon they will be back next month
  5. I don't think it was a fluke, it just tends to show that without some key players the USA are far less dangerous and that having two speedsters is no guarantee
  6. Well, settle for it, one can argue that one official language is more than enough to give informations
  7. Merkushyna winning the qualifications, how surprising
  8. M... has been the code for Macedonia for a little while now Moldova = MDA Mongolia = MGL
  9. At least a 1km loop so more like 2 or 3 minutes depending on the circuit
  10. Speaking of super-sprint, I hope they change the format of super-sprint to reproduce the cross-country sprint model
  11. Sure One is exactly the number of ice rink we don't have
  12. Very encouraging result from Loubineaud again The new Contin, the one man army, what a pity
  13. One very interesting result is the 22nd place of Cheng Fangming , at a time when China doesn't seem to have good male prospects heading for their Olympics, he's back from 4 years out of the circuit and get a very decent first appearance in the WC. Good shooting (18/20) and, despite what we may think at first, promising performance on the skis : 33th course time +3.05, beating the likes of Eliseev, Dale, Guigonnat, Samuelsson (and we know you might exceed a certain speed threshold to hope for top 20 and further). Nonetheless, like his fellow countrywomen, too much time lost at the range (92nd range time).
  14. Fabien Claude will get a fine for his poor performance Guigonnat will be suspended 20 years
  15. No no, you misspelled Oeberg Which one do you want ?
  16. WTF no penalty for Kelsey Mitchell despite a clear lane infringement
  17. Not very fair and again a OQT in France But I will not complain, maybe the little help we need to get to Tokyo
  18. I think you don't get it ... only the 3 best results count. Belgium will get the points for being 2nd in HK, given the teams in Cambridge and Brisbane I'm quite sure the French won't perform that well so huge gap to be expected
  19. I've really tried to understand the principle of having already qualified athletes/athletes that cannot qualify to a olympics QUALIFYING tournament ... but I just can't get it
  20. Great manoeuvre from Belgium, they get a 2nd place in the women team pursuit with a very weak field and earn a lot of point to go past France ...
