  1. Nope, 44 points is the deficit, so too much for this time (even considering the worst results). But a good leap forward
  2. Many times I dreamt about being an international athlete, last time I remember was short track speed skating... So gutted when I woke up
  3. I'm not a fan of the new Dutch domination (though it is limited to less events) but I'd prefer seeing them make a sweep rather than the British frauds Concerning Norway, well
  4. The chance of this event (and the point that bothers me most with biathlon at the Olympics) is that it doesn't require any additional quota... With a good communication on how It could open the podium to more nations we could well see it at the Games in the future. But we know that 6 countries will battle for the podium in the end
  5. Inherent to the principle of the race, short distances means shorter gaps Hooray Ok more nations can participate but get medals... It's clear that this race is taken seriously by the big nations when at championships, i.e not in concurrence with the mixed relay. Therefore the chances of Estonia and Kazakhstan are reduced to 0.1%. Plus there is already too much biathlon races at the Olympics
  6. 1936 is very different in its construction and far less generic than many others... Some want to take into account the context rather than the motto itself, I'd say that except for Athens all of them are interchangeable, then I don't see why I should consider the political situation
  7. It's a very good motto... For what it's worth = nothing Super duper generic
  8. Doesn't answer my question but anyway Your position is pretty obvious by the way
  9. Meh, although I understand that we can't have high expectations for Colombia to switch to the ice, the current situation of France's speed skating is ludicrous A country that organized three Winter OG and have such a strong tradition of in-line skating can't settle for one athlete to emerge every now and then thanks to his own will and efforts ... This federation is a terrible mess ...
  10. Being a speed skater in France is imho almost the same as being a speed skater in Colombia, so you're right I guess the federation is (almost) not doing anything for him and considering the turmoils in the aforementioned federation at the moment, it's getting even worse to be a speed skater here ... Fantastic results though

  12. What are you implying ? We know that Kratochvilova and Koch are horrible cheating juiced Commies, but JJK and Flo-Jo are wonderful self-made women, their record are well deserved
  13. USA and Korea would get the continental spot, therefore the last spot (if Egypt is out) would go to either Estonia, Ukraine or France
  14. With Egypt reaching the top 16, it seems nearly impossible
  15. Give some European countries the same conditions of qualification and they would do it the same if not better
  16. From 2.01.5 outdoor to 1.57.9 indoor in 6 months, great progression
  17. All the French are first year juniors (eg 2000), a great performance ! Third title in a row, and third with Camille Bened in the line-up, she could end up her junior career with 5 relay titles
