  1. Well. Analyzes can be wrong as well, and some people may use it against me one day You can select polling stations for yourself? In Denmark it's just the closest (if you don't vote in advance). It was my old public school until I moved about 1½ years ago.
  2. So far it seems like a rather big rise in voter turnout in the Netherlands with 43 % voting by 15.45. In comparison it was 37 % in 2012. So far it pretty much follows the numbers from the 2006 election, where the turnout ended at 80.40 %. Often a high turnout is bad news for right wing populists, but it's never safe to say that it will be the same here, as PVV may just as well manage to get more people out to vote for them. It could mean a bit more with knowledge about more local turnouts, but the only thing I've read is that the turnout in Amsterdam is high, which doesn't seem too great for PVV. But as we saw a couple of times last year, it's dangerous to analyze too much!
  3. Maybe I should tell our chairman to meet you (we have four people in the Netherlands campaigning)
  4. Well... I thank you Dutch and the Germans for starting paranoia. Just read somebody stating that we'll be in civil war in Denmark soon...
  5. I read that the police tweeted that the match was still on, as relatives of some of the spectators had called the police to report relatives as missing. Rather funny
  6. It's pretty tough to find the perfect way to do it. Because a country's quotas can change a lot. The quota system for the worlds are after all pretty much the same as for the Olympics, meaning that unless you have a constantly (very) strong team, your number of participants will change a lot. You could potentially have 3 skaters going through to the free skate and still only get one spot for the next worlds (or the Olympics)
  7. It looks photoshopped... Found this picture, which is exactly the same: I'm guessing that one's the original one
  8. What a start to the season for the Danish women. Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig also won the GC in Setmana Ciclista Valenciana! Finally Danish female cycling is showing something again and that the Worlds wasn't just a coincidence!
  9. Amalie wins Ronde van Drenthe!
  10. Good old Soros!
  11. Vote D66 (they're our sister party, and we've spent quite a lot of time with their youth party, Jonge Democraten, in the past)
  12. Just read about the accusations against Tusk about the plane crash in 2010. Wow!
  13. SV? Do you mean SF (Socialistic Peoples party)? If so, I doubt they will be back in government soon. Their time in government was tough with them not really getting what they wanted and their members weren't too happy about most of the compromises. Though they have a slightly stronger leader than back then, I don't think they'll want to be in government in the nearest future. Edit: Or do you mean RV?
  14. I've just reached a personal milestone, as I saturday was selected as a candidate for the social liberal party to the municipal council in Aarhus (2nd largest city in Denmark). Hope that doesn't make the people hating politicians hate me
  15. Wouldn't personally talk about great songs, but that's all a matter of taste. There are only a few songs that would disappoint me as a winner (Benjamin Ingrosso, Lisa Ajax and FO&O), I could even live with Ace Wilder winning, (and I really couldn't stand busy doing nothing and Don't worry) but meanwhile there aren't any songs that makes me think wow. Jon and Aninia are great, but I just feel that the song is lacking something, but it is my personal favourite.
  16. Really? That's category 3 hurricane winds!
  17. A highly interesting Paris-Nice so far with winds giving problems for most riders.
  18. Nah. My favourite is Stefan Holm... Sorry, Robbie Grabarz!
  19. 5 out of 6 Danish athletes in the semi finals with the last one yet to start (well, Andreas Martinsen is in the semi due to few starters). A great race by Lobo Vedel, and it would seem like he's able to go faster. Maybe we'll have a new Danish Record. Sara could challenge her own record as well. I hope for a final or two, but with a bit of luck, we could even end up in 4 (I don't think that Troest and Hari have much chances, but the others could do it, if things work out for them.
  20. Well, starting about a minute from the 3rd place and now we're back fighting for the podium. That's pretty much
  21. Hellner! (I'm not watching, but only following the live timing as I'm in class)
  22. Sadly no Danish relay. Not so surprising, as Møller seems to be having problems with illness.
  23. A big step forward by the Swedish skiers, but still far from what was expected before the Championships, especially from Calle. Johan did fine, and I really hope he'll do the relay and feel ready to go for the Olympics in a year. Lasse seems to do fine, though pretty far from the Olympic standard, and Tue a bit better than expected so far.
  24. Well. One of my questions were answered. Martin DNS
  25. Several interesting things for me in this race: Has Johan Olsson once again managed to get in shape for the Worlds? Does any of the Swedish skiers show the shape for me to believe in a medal in the relay? Will Martin Møller and Lasse Hulgaard be able to beat the National Olympic standards? Will Tue and Jens beat anybody? Will the Danish skiers show enough for them to decide to start in the relay?
