  1. Very annoying that they're taking away the clock when they know that the differences are this big!
  2. The danish target is 5 medals I don't know about Sweden.
  3. And Jonas Jacobsson going for a medal which would make it 10 consecutive games with a medal!
  4. As usual, people trying to learn lots of languages for some reason never try learning danish or swedish
  5. Well. I've found by life goal. I'm gonna become world champion in Toguz korgool!
  6. Only 13 of 22 sports will be shown on tv and streams
  7. Come on, guys! You really want to throw away the Olympics with a shorthanded goal!
  8. At least you didn't concede 101 points! Only us and Kosovo did so...
  9. Well. In 2009 it was our eternal rivals who we've only just started beating the last couple of years, Norway, who was in the way. (I still remember that match all too well) I believe we were seen as favourites in 2013, but we didn't play well from what I remember. This is our big chance, espsecially thanks to the NHL participation, which gives us a big advantage. I will sadly most likely miss one or two of the matches, but I'm really looking forward to it as well. In general it's really an exciting period for our "secondary" team sports with both basketball, volleyball and ice hockey qualifications.
  10. Denmark Squad Goalies: Frederik Andersen, Toronto Sebastian Dahm, Graz 99ers Simon Nielsen, Herning Defensemen: Philip Larsen, Vancouver Oliver Lauriden, Jokerit Jesper B. Jensen, Jokerit Nicholas B. Jensen, Rungsted Stefan Lassen, Pelicans Lahti Emil Kristensen, Linköping Daniel Nielsen, Herning Markus Lauridsen, Leksand Forwards: Frans Nielsen, Detroit Mikkel Bødker, San Jose Oliver Bjorkstrand, Columbus Jannik Hansen, Vancouver Nikolaj Ehlers, Winnipeg Peter Regin, Jokerit Mads Christensen, München Nichlas Hardt, Malmö Frederik Storm, Malmö Morten Green, Rungsted Morten Madsen, Karlskrona Nicklas Jensen, New York Rangers Mathias Bau, Frederikshavn
  11. On the paper we would be (even though Kopitar is pretty far ahead of the 2nd best player in the qual (I guess that would be Frans Nielsen)) We have a huge advantage in Frederik Andersen who I believe is by pretty far the best goalie in the tournament, but it will still be tough. Both Slovenia and Belarus have good teams and sadly I never feel sure when our teams are the favourites.
  12. I'm pretty sure that our NHL players have the Olympic qualification as the main goal even though several of them are going to the World Cup. Simply because it would be the first time and a huge thing for danish Ice hockey, even though it may be without NHL players.
  13. A good final test before the qualification with a 3-0 win against Latvia. By far our strongest team ever with 8 NHL players and another 2 with NHL experience...
  14. It's to get the NHL players to participate (and thanks for that )
  15. Not necessarily. The gender equality question May make some noticable changes in several sports.
  16. Just thought I wanted to show that I'm still alive after this fantastic win. I can't believe that we did it. Even though I was one of few who thought it could happen (at least of those I've talked with), I'm having a hard time believing that we've beaten the mighty french team! But what a way to end our Olympics and secure the 2nd gold, meaning that we still have to go back to Barcelona 1992 to see games where we've won less than 2 golds.
  17. Loving those views of "Danmark" (Our beautiful school ship). Abdi is doing great as well, so far.
  18. I didn't follow the women's tournament as closely as the men's (where most of all 4 rounds was on either my tv or computer), but it has been another very interesting one. Inbee Park played very well on 3 of the 4 rounds, and it was clear only a few holes in the 4th round that she would be out of reach. Meanwhile the world's no. 1, Lydia Ko had a rather mediocre start, but then rushed up the field with a great 3rd round. Shanshang Feng on the other hand played 4 solid, but not great rounds, making her 3rd. Sadly Nicole threw away the chance for medals with a quadruple bogey in the beginning of the 3rd round. Nanna could have wanted a slightly better 3rd round, just as she needed to be a bit better with the putter on the 4th. All in all I am in favour of golf staying after these 2 tournaments (no surprise, as I'm one of the most pro-golf members here). Some very good and exciting tournaments and it seems very clear that all the golfers who have been in Rio were very excited about being part of it. I would be very surprised if we see as many withdrawals for the golf in Tokyo.
  19. But then you'll be a rival (as I'm half swedish)
