India lost a golden chance to qualify only in the stoppage time , by giving up a penalty against Bahrain

Andy Murray lost to Agut in 5 sets Federer easily qualified through Istomin

This could be the biggest victory ever for Qatar in the Asian Cup btw , he should be disappointed actually , they have conceded now 10 goals in only 2 matches i underestimated Qatar , i think we'll see a very big match for them against KSA , i recommend people here to watch this game

that really surprised me that even in Italy , France and Spain they subscribe for BEIN Sports , ofc their football coverage is excellent no doubt about that , for EPL Matches i see at least 8 matches per game day out of 10 , many LA liga matches , all matches for the big 5 in Italy ( Rome , Juventus , Milan , Napoli , Inter ) and some other matches , many matches of league 1 and about 3 or 4 matches of Budesliga per game day , unfortunately they don't care much about Bundesliga, but they made recently packages for continental NT cups , for example the recent Asian Cup i have to pay for it 500 Egyptian pounds which's 28 $ , which didn't work for me at all -

here in Egypt , we have 2 sports channels , On Sport and Nile Sport , They're covering football 24/7 , ofc only local matches and some recorded matches from big clubs' in Europe channels , at the past i was able to see many matches whether local or international of team sports like Basketball , handball and Volleyball and some other individual sports other than football , but at the last 5 years Nile sport and the local tv channels in general didn't care anymore about those sports , this year with the existence of On Sport which's quite new sports channel in Egypt , i was able to follow some local matches of other sports than football , there's also another channel which's a general one covering some sporting tournaments being held in Egypt and especially related to Basketball and Taekwondo, it's called Sada el balad , at least we're able now to follow sporting events being held in Egypt , overall the main source for Sport in Arab world is BEIN Sports channels , they have 20 sports channels + some entertainment channels and it's not for free , i pay 570 Egyptian pounds each 3 months which's about 32 US $ to watch 10 channels which're only available on Nile Sat ( the Egyptian Satellite ) other channels are available on the Qatari Satellite S'uhil SAT , these channels cover all football competitions u can imagine i think no European channels cover football big tournament , leagues and Cups like them , they perfectly cover Tennis tournaments ALL GSs and Masters tournaments at least are available + some 500 and 250 ATP tournaments , NBA , basketball WC and its qualifications all around the world , Euro league and all continental Cups are covered . handball UCL , WCH , WCH and Continental tournaments + coverage for French league and women's UCL , but unfortunately they didn't cover the recent WCH even no Arabic channels cover it , only Egypt and Tunisia matches are available on local channels , they cover all tournaments of FINA , partial coverage for NFL , MLB , Squash is covered very well also, Indian Cricket league , some Golf Tournaments , all major tournaments of Road Cycling and all Formula 1 and Moto GP Tournaments + some Professional boxing matches, they used to cover many Athletics, Volleyball , TT , taekwondo , judo events , but this's gone for sorry in the last 2 years. they covered last year almost all events of WOG , many events of Asian Games and partially YOG . AD Sports channels which have some open and some paid channels cover all tournaments of IAAF at the last 2 years , Diamond league is available on many Arabic Sports channels , Dubai Sports cover all UIPM world cups and WCH and International badminton federation tournaments almost all big tournaments are covered there ,many Arabic sports channels cover Volleyball international tournaments this year , many Equesterian WCs are available on AD Sports , Global champions tour is available on BEIN Sports , in 2017 Weightlifting world championship was available on BEIN , but unfortunately they didn't cover the last edition , BEIN covers some Triathlon events also world series for instance I've to say that Arabic Sports channels coverage to sport isn't that bad , especially with the fact that very few people here in the Arabic world don't care about other sports than football , My biggest problem with them is Individual Sports' WCHs which they can cover for very low budget , but they don't , hopefully things would change in better way -
we wasted a golden chance to get at least a tie from Sweden , we could have stolen the match in the last 10 minutes , but .... i think many things would have changed if we made a real preparations for this tournament , but u can't aim for a victory over a team like Sweden with playing with Ukraine , Latvia and Belgium with all due respect for them

Angola wins in the vary last second historical victory for Angola
-
It's 20-20 with 8 minutes to go
-
Angola is leading Qatar 12-8 after 1st half

well i think even the big 3 had some difficult time like this and it lasted for 2 years also with them , so many fans were hoping that Murray could really come back to his best competitive form , we could really miss federer by the end of season , now we have also Murray i guess that's not good for tennis fans
-
he said it could be his last tournament , so he's not officially retired , btw really sad news for Tennis fans , Murray was a very important member in one of the tennis best eras with the 3 G.O.A.T.S i hope he could have at least one shot for winning wimbeldon at home

Syria really dissapointed me in this tournament , for sure they're the biggest dissapointment of this Asian Cup and i think their biggest problem is coaching , in WCQ they always created many chances to score even without Somah who just joined them in their last match against Iran . Palestine and Jordan have bery strong historical relations , they're almost one country and many Jordanese even come from Palestenian roots , so i guess they won't mind much to let the game for them ? i'm kidding ofc , but it's still possible . Iraq is always dangerous , as they play with heart , i guess it'll be very intersting match to watch and i guess u'll only need a tie to top the group
-
Jordan is the 1st team to qualify to 2nd Rd after defeating Syria 2-0 , they have also secured the top spot in the group if only Palestine didn't defeat Australia which's very predictable , good news for Palestine they'll play the last match with their 2nd team , so if Palestine could not lose heavily today , they have all their chances to go through next Rd , Syria has sacked their coach immediately after the match , which's means we already have 2 sacked coaches after the 1st day of the 2nd group stage matches UAE defeated India 2-0 , i didn't see the match , but i heard that India was the better side and wasted some critical chances to score , they still have their destiny on their hands only if they tie with Bahrain to get at least a spot for best 3rds , UAE road to Semis isn't anymore easy again as they'll have to meet Australia in quarters if both teams made it to this round
-
it ended 39-16
-
Denmark is humilating Chile , 22-4 after 1st half It was 9-4 at the 10th minute !
-
Thailand defeated Bahrain 1-0 , things are getting quite logical here , even though i expected a tie , it was a very tight game that anyone could have won

So it's a fantasy league , not the best player award AFC is quite strange in somethings yes i agree especially here with the best player Award , if there's a player or 2 playing in Europe and couldn't attend the ceremony there're many others that could attend , that's what happens in Africa , the winner should also attend the ceremony otherwise he won't win it and i guess it's something logical as the long as that should be the main scene of the ceremony , for example in CAF awards yesterday Salah and Mane were moved by a private plane from Liverpool to Dakar to attend the ceremony and i think it was delivered by CAF to assure their existence , if CAF can do this then the AFC could really easily do it also especially at this time where many leagues are taking some days off , anyway the best criteria to choose the best is always by giving this right to coaches and captains of Asian teams like what happens everywhere else
-
Japan also has a very strong league and their teams are the main competitors for ACL , but they don't win much also
-
they made for players outside Asia another prize , but they don't even mention them at their annual ceremony , for me the best player in Asia should be the real best player whether he plays inside Asia or outside and btw even not always the best local based player win , i feel that this prize is kind of made for Gulf countries' players especially KSA , UAE and Qatar
-
i always wonder how local based players win this prize in Asia ahead of players playing in Europe !
-
Very intersting game between Oman and Uzbekistan , Uzbeks won 2-1 , but Oman really deserved a tie they lacked a good goalkeeper here after their Ali el Habsi got injured before the start of tournament , even though their only goal came from an offside . Classic Cuper he never changes

-
predictable , as long as the tournament is held on Arabian soil
