  1. Yes, that is what I meant. In absence of Kynan in Trap, it doesn't matter if the quota goes to Trap or Skeet. Shreyasi is front-runner but not by much.
  2. There are 2 WCs next year before Rankings close. Good performance in both can propel him to a good ranking. I am aware that swap has to be in same gender. Otherwise, Kynan/Anish would be the prime candidates for swap. Even if both are able to get quotas through rankings, it would be better to select Manavjit or Prithviraj or heck even Vijayveer for the swap.
  3. According to me, the only event with headache is Women's 10m Air Rifle. Mehuli is almost surely out, not because she is shooting bad but since she is shooting in MQS, she can't get bonus points for reaching finals or rankings. I don't think NRAI would want a situation where Apurvi or Anjum miss out on Olympics, so only two possibilities are there. 1) Apurvi and Anjum are selected in 10m. Anjum starts in 50x3 as well. Chinki's quota goes to Shotgun events. If Kynan is able to get a quota through ranking (very small chance), then it will surely go to Trap, otherwise it could go to either. Whoever gets the quota would be very lucky. 2) Elavenil replaces Anjum in 10m. Chinki's quota is swapped for another in 50x3. While personally, I would prefer option 2, I think option 1 is more likely. In fact, I would place the likelihood as 75% for 1 and 25% for 2.
  4. Phenomenal performance by our Shooters. 15 quotas. Breakdown of the quota Men's Rifle: 4/4 Women's Rifle: 3/4 (Anjum can start in the remaining event) Men's Pistol: 2/4 (Still chance for Anish to qualify via ranking) Women's Pistol: 4/4 (Considering Manu will start in both events, we have extra quota here) Men's Shotgun: 2/4 (Kynan was close to quota many times but just couldn't get it) Women's Shotgun: 0/4 (Only discipline with zero quotas but still might get one due to swap of Chinki's quota) So, almost full team in Rifle/Pistol. 2 quotas today even salvaged the Shotgun team.
  5. Men's Skeet Quotas:
  6. Men's 50x3 Rifle: to fight for 3 quotas in the finals.
  7. Quota in Women's Skeet:
  8. FIH has declared the next World Cup Hosts. India will host the Men's 2022 tournament in Jan 2023 while Spain and Netherlands will co-host the Women's tournament in July 2022.
  9. Women's 50x3 Rifle quotas:
  10. Also, World Cup Final this year. Not sure about Olympic Games Test Event. I think so. We must also keep in mind that past scores are not as valuable as recent ones. A good performance in a recent World Cup can easily improve your ranking by a lot.
  11. Yes. Hence, Iran can win the ranking quota in 25m Pistol Women but not in 10m Air Pistol Women, where Rostamian has already won the quota.

  13. It is there on Sius only.
  14. x2 qualify for final in Men's Trap. x2, in shoot-off for remaining 3 spots. can win maximum one quota out of three available.
  15. Quota for and in 25m Rapid Fire Pistol. Anish again falters in the end.
  16. I think Reem had an absolute shocker in final round and has indeed finished at 108. That means and have qualified for finals while will have a shoot-off to determine the last finalist. There are three quotas available and only China is ineligible.
  17. Today was stage 1. Team medals will be given at the end of the competition tomorrow.
  18. Final scoreboard:
  19. Yes, there was final. Sius website is stuck. I got info from twitter handle of Raninder Singh.
  20. Twitter handle of Indian Shooting Federation President. Deepak has won Bronze. China has won Gold/Silver. Don't have any more information at present. The scoreboard at end of 14 shots is as below.
  21. Deepak has won the quota. Korea has only one quota in 25m Pistol.
  22. Men’s 10m Air Rifle: to fight for 3 quotas
  23. Is anyone able to get live results? Usually, SIUS is good but today am not seeing any update there.
  24. At present China and Thailand have two riders each who have met minimum standard. To qualify a full team, both need 3 riders each. In case they fail to qualify third rider, these 4 riders will come back to individual qualifications making it harder for Mirza. But, Mirza has couple of good results and should still be ahead of others plus he will still have chance for the 6 additional spots through World Ranking. Mirza himself is yet to achieve the minimum standard. He is close and has quite some time to do so. For further queries, ask @dcro who has been very patiently answering all my Equestrian related queries in the Tokyo qualification thread.
