  1. South Korea is actually guaranteed to qualify in all events. If they fail to qualify, they'll get extra place (so there can be 31 athletes in men's singles for example).
  2. Sad news indeed.
  3. @Agger What with Laurence Fournier-Beaudry? Will she be allowed to compete for Denmark at the Olympics?
  4. Highlights from day 2 are up...
  5. Fernandez 3 quotas - 2 quotas - 1 quota -
  6. Add Bermuda to the likely qualifiers. Tucker Murphy is back.
  7. Men's free skate in progress. If everything stays like it is now, will miss Olympic qualification by 0.03 points...
  8. This is gold. Penny from the Big Bang Theory watching action in Omaha. People who watched the Big Bang Theory should see the irony in that.
  9. Ok, so let's add another rule. "Late replacement of jury member(s) shall be allowed on TISC committee discretion in case that it is proven beyond reasonable doubt that the already registered jury member(s) will not be able to send their votes before the selected deadline."
  10. McLain Ward is a machine. Second stage - second victory. In the six-horses jump-off, Ward defeated second placed Gregory Wathelet by 3 seconds! Today is a rest day for jumpers ahead of the big final on Sunday. Points accumulated over the first two stages are converted into starting penalties for the big final. Only Wathelet and Duguet are within one pole of Ward. There was a funny interview going on with 10 riders to go in the initial round. They interviewed Marcus Ehning, the only one who made jump-off at that point. Journalist: "Let's see who will join you in the jump-off." Ehning: "I hope nobody." @Vojthas Do you know why Kubiak got disqualified?
  11. Some highlights from the first day.
  12. Yeah, it has been mentioned. There was a press conference about it few days ago, and the tickets will apparently be free.
  13. European Weightlifting Championships in Croatia of all places. It's quite nice that IWF gives European championships to small weightlifting nations. Last year it was Norway, and before that Israel and Albania.
  14. This is crazy, all of a sudden Armenia is out too, thanks to Pogorilaya's train wreck... This is cruel.
  15. Yeah, they just secured it. Looks like Australia is out too.
  16. And the Tanner family.
  17. Wakaba Higuchi fell, this put KAZ back into top 10 and crushed Singapore's hopes. Japan will get only two quotas, shocker!
  18. Ashley Wagner drops behind Mihara. Another thing that Singapore needed! This is becoming supernatural.
  19. They have in 25th. But they still can, thanks to weird rules. They have a chance if both KAZ and KOR finish outside of top 10 and if US girls drop a couple of places.
  20. A lot of things are going in favour of Singapore's qualification at the moment.
  21. Lol No, I would like to see cable cars and such stuff.
  22. Why Toth? 23rd place was enough to qualify taking into account the standings after short program. So basically everyone except Crane is in solid position for now.
  23. Meanwhile on the jumping side. McLain Ward won the opening speed class. Looks like this might be a big clash between Ward and double defending champion Steve Guerdat (who finished 3rd yesterday). Nayel Nassar didn't have much luck. Incredibly fast, but two rails down eventually dropped him from potential 3rd to 20th.
