  1. Provided nobody from the same nation is already entered for that event.* Two swimmers are allowed only if they both have OQT in the event concerned. I don't believe they changed this rule. EDIT: Yeah, the Polish federation confirms it. It would be dumb if relay swimmers can start an individual event with an OST, while those with an OQT can't get the same treatment.
  2. Marković 63.62 m (PB) na državnom prvenstvu... Ako se ne varam, to ga dovodi na 35. mjesto na listi (3. rezerva). Ima neke šanse ako to još popravi do kraja mjeseca...
  3. Well, Hungary losing both finals is pretty awkward. Though the women's match is really the one they lost. Belgium here was at another level.
  4. Kind of feels like there is a lot of pressure on these judges...
  5. Mongolians are missing the 2pt shots by like a meter.
  6. No, she was on a baby-break recently. Now she is slowly building a new string of horses.
  7. German dressage long-list for the Tokyo Olympics (and Hagen European Championships)... Jessica von Bredow-Werndl - Zaire-E and TSF Dalera BB Helen Langehanenberg - Annabelle Hubertus Schmidt - Escolar Dorothee Schneider - Faustus and Showtime FRH Carina Scholz - Tarantino Frederic Wandres - Duke of Britain Benjamin Werndl - Daily Mirror Isabell Werth - Bella Rose, Quantaz aund Weihegold OLD
  8. Why "Bandi", and not "Ice Hockei"?
  9. Sweden wins! Christian Kukuk blows it for Germany (both in the early rounds and jump-off). I had him down as one of the individual favorites for Tokyo, but after this, he will need a miracle just to get selected.
  10. Well, Mohammed Talaat did a good job today. He stands a good chance of getting selected. Karim Elzoghby, meanwhile, had the luckiest clear I have seen in years in the Round 1. I never expected him to repeat it, but 3 fences down were still a letdown.
  11. Apparently everyone advanced to the second round. 13 - jump-off! 16 25 25 29 44 45 65 WD Just when I doubted the Mexicans, they delivered the tied best second round. Conditions became more challenging with constant rain, so some teams struggled.
  12. The season started in St. Gallen today. Standings after Round 1... 5 5 8 9 13 14 16 20 --------- 21 25 Egypt is on fire! Terrible competition for Mexico. This is supposed to be their Tokyo team (more or less).
  13. No Olympics for Mo Farah?
  14. Not surprising. There are no real oceans in most of Europe.
  15. Wow, how often does Costa Rica qualify 3 athletes in one day?
  16. Well done Luka! We will have a representative after all.
  17. Hugely impressive win for Michael McNally & Eclipto in Millstreet today. His second 4* win of the year. https://live.rechenstelle.de/2021/millstreet_06/leaderboard04.html This puts the Irish selectors in an interesting position. Should they or should they not take a gamble with this new, but promising combination?
  18. As if that would have been enough...
  19. In any case, it is safe to say that this team was qualified and ready for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, not the Tokyo 2021 Olympics.
  20. Odd how James Connor is not listed here. He is eligible (in fact he competed in Italy yesterday, so his horse is also competition-ready), but I guess he may have excluded himself from contention. We will see. I guess the main question is whether the federation will be looking to send the team at any cost. Including the strong possibility of finishing last. If two riders between Rawlins/Connor/Baker are to count, then there is only so much Heike Holstein can do, even against Japan.
  21. Same thing is going on in Armenia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan. Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are usually a little more "subtle". As in, their athletes don't achieve literally the exact required standards (like basically the whole Armenian team did for 2016). But still, they achieve massive and suspicious PBs at home events which they never repeat somewhere outside.
  22. At this point, Bugan couldn't be any closer... Different qualification paths have different reallocation pools, but after today, almost any new reallocation (from Groups A/B/C/F and Additional) would go straight to Slovakia. Reallocation could even come from Groups D/E/G in some combinations.
  23. A curious story worth sharing here. Here is an athlete withdrawing from Tokyo due to... Brexit. Well, it is one of the reasons in any case. https://www.eurodressage.com/2021/06/04/olympic-slots-reshuffled-after-wave-withdrawals-riders-declining-go-tokyo
  24. Sure, this is the situation (as of today)... Dressage -1 +1 Eventing -1 +1
