  1. Just to note, once the deadline has passed on Friday, we will conduct a simple random draw on Saturday, 30th November using this website: https://www.randomresult.com/ The draw will be set in advance and a ticket will be created to show that the draw is genuine and all users will be able to see the results when the draw time has passed.
  2. Well done @Vojthas good job
  3. Right.
  4. It’s just like how you make a left turn and stay on the right side
  5. And who will be the interval act? Madonna “Just Like A Prayer” went down like a lead balloon at Eurovision. I don’t think Satan will make the same mistake.
  6. Don’t trust those penguins! Remember that TISC envoy we sent to Winterfest? We are still awaiting for news of what happened to him.
  7. I thought the penguins prefer a slightly cooler climate than hell... at least a few degrees cooler.
  8. Are you suggesting I have influence with the penguins?
  9. I am a proud sinister.... not just as a driver, but as a left-handed writer too.
  10. Your chances are now at 6.66%.... satan's edition of TISC is coming
  11. Totallympics Annual International Song Contest 2020 Bid Candidates So with just over 1 week to go before the TAISC 2020 bid deadline passes, here is a provisional list of bid candidates. Any national TISC committee that is interested in putting in a bid is asked to put their names forward before the deadline of 21:00 GMT Friday, 29 November. Currently, 3 nations have put their hats in the ring: Algeria, Croatia and United States. Provisional list of TISC Annual 2020 Bid Candidates: Nation Number of Tickets in the draw ALGERIA 7 CROATIA 7 UNITED STATES 1
  12. The pace definitely picked up in the third episode which is good. It's really well produced and that alone is enough to keep my attention. As you say though, would like the plot to thicken a bit more to allow for more twists to be thrown into plot further on. But happy enough to continue watching
  13. Looks like all mediocre nations should aim to get relegated to the bottom tier in future to increase qualification chances (unless this is a once-off system).
  14. Ireland hasn't a hope in hell of making an interesting game on Monday. Our national team is beyond help at this stage and I just don't even know how they even have any chance to still qualify given how bad they are. I foresee another thrashing by the Danes
  15. Please have a read of the rules. In particular this rule: 7. (e) Participating users must be respectful when posting and discussing with other members on the Totallympics International Song Contest Thread. If you can't follow this basic rule, you can't be fit to host.
  16. Also, I'm now starting the 13th season of "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia".... it's taken me so long, but almost up to date at last . Loved the earlier seasons of this show and still some really funny episodes, but Season 12 was definitely the weakest I watched so far.
  17. I agree. Btw, I love the opening title sequence!
  18. I'm watching "His Dark Materials" also, have seen the first 2 episodes, the third is on BBC on Sunday. So far it's worth a watch but not really gripped yet. Hopefully it will take off.
  19. TISC Annual 2020 Announcement So with the Netherlands stepping down from hosting duties in order to focus on TISC Open 2020 preparations, and with Australia having already ruled themselves out of hosting...... ......it means that all top 3 finishers at TISC Annual 2019 have declined hosting rights. What this means is that we are now looking for a new host of the upcoming TISC Annual edition to be held in the early months of 2020. We are officially open to bids and all interested parties are invited to submit a formal application (or just right a message here on the thread to say they are interested ). In order to remind ourselves of the process of finding a new host, please see Section 9, rule (c) below: 9. (c) In the event that the hosting rights are declined by the top 3 ranked nations at the previous edition of the relevant TISC, an open bid process will be conducted in order to award the hosting rights. This process will be open to all candidates, first-time hosts as well as previous hosts. A random draw will take place with each candidate being awarded a number of tickets in the draw. The more tickets a candidate has entered, the better their chance of being selected as host. Here is the process for how the tickets will be distributed: Each candidate automatically awarded 1 ticket each in the draw. However, additional tickets awarded as follows - did not host in the previous 5 editions (+1 additional ticket) - did not host in the previous 10 editions (+1 additional ticket) - did not host previously (+2 additional tickets) - took part in the previous bidding process (+1 additional ticket). For first-time hosts, they will add an additional ticket for each edition they are unsuccessful for in bidding, thus increasing their chance slightly with each unsuccessful bid. This increase will only be available for first-time hosts. Additionally, if a first-time host missed 2 consecutive bidding campaigns, then their tickets no longer carry forward and they lose those additional tickets. So let's take a look at how this might work using the different scenarios...... Denmark bids to host - hosted within the previous 5 editions (1 ticket) Lithuania bids to host - hosted within the previous 10 editions (2 tickets) Serbia bids to host - did not host within the previous 10 editions (3 tickets) Poland bids to host - did not host previously, did not take part in the previous bidding process (5 tickets) Croatia bids to host - did not host previously, took part in the previous bidding process - (6 tickets) Algeria bids to host - did not host previously, took part in the previous bidding process - (6 tickets) The deadline to receive bids will close 2 weeks from now on Friday, 29th November at 21:00 GMT. We welcome all bids and good luck to all interested parties Provisional list of TISC Annual 2020 Bid Candidates: Nation Number of Tickets in the draw ALGERIA 7 CROATIA 7 UNITED STATES 1
  20. Liverpool v Man City is the main event for me today and later will watch Snooker Champion of Champions final and Grand Slam of Darts.
  21. Also illegal here. But you can be sure come every October those teens with nothing better to do always had their hands on fireworks and letting them off everywhere as if it was the funniest thing ever
  22. Just another place for those idiots to set off a firework
