The answer is yes, the scoreboard can be recreated as you can see below. The templates is another story. I don't have the original templates but I do remember the heading for each template. it coontained a spinning flag and 4 templates... Points 1-9; 10 Points; 11 Points and 12 Points. I was thinking of borrowing an idea from the Olympic and Eurovision channels and have a replay of the very first Totallympics International Song Contest (TISC Open 2013). The early editions of TISC were hosted on the old forum so it's not possible to re-live them by accessing a thread. So might be a nice idea to post a full re-run of the voting results allowing us to re-live how the voting unfolded in that crazy edition and allowing new users to live it for the first time. Obviously it wouldn't last as long as a normal TISC live show and is not a true replay but might be nice to gather for a couple of hours to re-live a bit of TISC history. Any thoughts?

In relation to the song contest, if the voting takes place prior to the Games and if songs are divided into groups, then you could have it spread over a number of days as a tournament. I am all for making it very different from standard TISC anyway so that might not be a bad thing. Plus there might be scope for having matches. For example, Song A vs Song B. There could be a set number of jurors for each match, for example 10. So you can have a win, draw or loss. You could have a mini league or group format with knock-outs. And all the while it remains hidden who chose which entries. This is just a quick thought I had and lots of detail would still have to come, but thought it might be worth throwing out there. Makes it seem more like a sport and very distinct from TISC that way.

We used to hold curling tournaments between Totallympians on flyordie.com. It may not be a summer sport but would seem silly to discount it for that reason alone.

So far from reading through the replies, most people would like to see some kind of contest to be held during that period when the Olympics would have been held. And from the options so far, a lot of people are favouring the Festival of Music option and then also some appetite for a sports theme too. I will allow time for more input but currently I'm thinking we could hold a contest based on a Festival of Music type concept. Users could represent the nations who have not taken part in TISC. Also to incorporate some type of sports theme, then the format could be in the style of a sporting tournament, with either groups or knock-out rounds as some have suggested. I agree with those who said it should feel much different to TISC so that users don't feel fatigued when the 15th milestone edition of TISC begins just a month or 2 after that. We want to have as much participation there as possible and who knows, maybe this once-off different style of contest will attract someone new. The suggestion that users' choice of nation is kept secret is a good idea also and is another element to help it feel like something different.
